Set in the heart of the picturesque Yarra Valley region, the Yarra Valley Estate is a stunning rustic wedding venue that features a large open-air chapel, vivid greenery as well as onsite accommodation, pretty much everything you will be ever asking for a wedding venue!
By growing organic produce onsite and being carbon neutral, the Yarra Valley Estate is also one of the few Yarra Valley wedding venues that prides in supporting sustainability. Not to mention, they will also plant a tree each time a couple gets married, how cool is that!
As a Yarra Valley wedding photographer, what I loved most about the Yarra Valley wedding venues are its one-of-a-kind open-air chapel as well as endless wedding photography opportunities. The open-air chapel allows plenty of natural light comes through while the shade offered by the tall trees surround prevent from harsh sunlight shine directly upon the guests during the afternoon. The majority of wedding photos at the Yarra Valley Estate are taken at the back of the venue where the wedding photographer and the bridal party need to take a buggy cart to. The backside is actually an airplane runway which features large open grassland, a green warehouse as well as panoramic view of the entire Yarra Valley region.
OUR STORY WITH THE COUPLE:
We met with the lovely couple earlier this year and it was great knowing the couple fell in love with our style of wedding photography at the very beginning. With many years of experience from capturing Melbourne wedding photography, without too much words, we quickly managed to stand on the same page of the style we after.
The wedding ceremony: witnessed by families and friends, the couple said ‘I do’ under the open-air chapel at the Yarra Valley Estate. Their wedding ceremony at this amazing Yarra Valley wedding venue was filled with love, laughter and lots of emotions, our wedding photographer captured plenty of authentic moments during the wedding ceremony.
The wedding photo location: after the couple got hitched, we then jumped on the gold buggy supplied by the venue for some natural and candid wedding photography. We started with some candid walking shots of the entire bridal party on the lawn, then we asked them to shake some champagne so we can capture those happy moments, lastly, we also took some stunning portrait shots for the couple along the country road.
