Highly Recommend!! If you are looking for a dreamy location, with incredible staff, food and picture opportunities - look no further. My husband and I got married at Windmill Gardens last November, and we are so pleased with every aspect of both the lead up and day of our wedding. Stefan, David, Marika and Sofia made every part of our special day go smoothly. At one point, I stupidly spilt red wine on my wedding dress - but the amazing Sofia came to the rescue and helped clean my dress while the rest of the reception continued. The whole team go above and beyond to make your day as special as it deserves to be. Even the wait staff were warm and caring, reminding me and my husband to eat throughout the night (although this seems like such a small detail, this did no go unseen).Thank you to the beautiful team for making our special day absolutely perfect. We will be forever grateful 💓
We got married here two weeks ago.We knew we were in good hands after first meeting with Stefan and talking through details but we were not prepared for the support we'd receive on the day.The venue itself is awe-inspiring and we received a lot of compliments. The lake was breathtaking at sunset, the windmill was quaint and picturesque, and the hall was ample to seat our 130 guests.There was a lot of compliments about the food - canapés were absolutely delicious btw - and the portion sizes as well.What really blew us away was the support from staff. They were quick, attentive and knew how to add a little levity to the evening.I cannot thank Stefan and David enough for constantly approaching the bride and groom's table to ensure we had everything we need, and they took care of us up to the moment we stepped into the limo and said goodbye.I cannot recommend this place enough and I'm sure my guests would agree.
We had our wedding ceremony in the chapel and reception at the windmill gardens main building on 30/11/2024.The Windmill Gardens definitely is a Fairytale setting. It was the first and only venue we looked at for our wedding. What an epic day! We were married here Sunday 10th of March - hottest day of the year so far but the heat was quickly forgotten once the fun started. From the day we arrived to look at the venue until I hauled my dress into the limo afterwards, it’s has been nothing but the best service, food, views, everything! There is nothing we can find fault in. All of our guests have raved about everything for days on end and no doubt will continue to. David, Marika, Stefan, Renata and the rest of the team - there is no possible way to thank you for everything you have done for us! You took out stressed away and made it the best day of our lives! We had an absolute ball and hope you did too! (The guests were a little loose 😉) if I had to do it all again, I’d change nothing at all but the weather. The staff are exceptionally hospitable and understand the importance of special occasions, going above and beyond making the day more memorable. This is not limited to management, ALL staff cater to any needs. The food was delicious and everyone enjoyed the selections, including those with special dietaries. When we did a venue walk through, we fell in love instantly.We and our guests were beyond impressed with the service and the quality of food, there was not one meal that did not exceed expectations, the pork especially was incredible and something out of a fine dinning restaurant. The wait staff were so nice and attentive to everything. We never once asked for top ups as our drinks were re-filled before anyone could notice they were low which is a testament to how attentive and generous the venue is.Our guests were raving about the service and the venue as a whole, they loved the pristine gardens especially.
