Absolutely love it. Got married here in 2022 and it was great being back and being relaxed and enjoying the day. Had dinner and breakfast there. We will make this a yearly tradition and go back yearly for our anniversary. The dinner was 5 stars it was fantastic, and the buffet breakfast was amazing as well. The girl who made the mocha on Sunday morning was the best mocha I've ever had (I had to go back for 2nds)

Beautiful place, poor food, poor service. Most of the food were lack of flavour and under-seasoned. We asked twice for plates to share the mains after the mains were served, and plates were cold. Duck breast was undercooked. Dessert was a joke. We were not allow to take away any food that we couldn't finish, because they didn't have their 'take away license'?! On top of that, It cost you $95/head. This is so embarrassed and disappointed. Not coming back again for sure.
Terrible customer service. Our wedding venue cancelled our booking so we have been trying to find a venue asap. I called them 4 days in a row trying to follow up with when we would be contacted and every day was “today or tomorrow”.We went in and the receptionist was no where to be seen. We had to go to the cafe to ask for someone to help us to which they said the receptionist would meet us back at the office. We waited there for 5 minutes, if not longer, then she finally came in blasé and was rude and not sympathetic to our situation at all. Basically scoffed us away so we didn’t even bother looking around the venue.
Enjoyed a Mothers Day lunch at The Stables, our family of five was lucky to be placed in a very quiet private room with beautiful light. The food was great on a fixed menu.

Went for a Sunday lunch fixed price menu. The food was nice enough however the person that greets you at the door tries to guess how much money you may have. If I ask for a table, then the next course of action should be to find me one. Not direct us to a couch with a menu to ponder if it's within the budget. Service was a little inattentive concentrating on larger groups.

Attended a wedding event here and really enjoyed the beautiful scenery. The chapel, the pavilion and barn were all gorgeous and made for an enjoyable experience.The staff were all wonderful and service was amazing.Unfortunately the food wasn’t up the same standards. Whilst it presented well, the flavor profiles didn’t mesh and most dishes were under-seasoned and quite disappointing.
The good view is that good weather is too good to have an escape tour from the busy city area.

Jack Rabbit boasts stunning bay views and impeccable food. It’s a must visit when on the Bellarine peninsula and a reasonable day trip for lunch from Melbourne. Even if you aren’t a wine lover I would recommend dining purely for the delicious crispy chats. Everything we ate was exceptional and given the quality the price point was value for money.There are a few fine dining style menu items; quail, kangaroo, venison etc but if you prefer simple fare the eye fillet is sublime and the dark chocolate dessert flawless. All elements executed to perfection and working in perfect harmony. I couldn’t fault the meal

This is definitely THE place to get married. You have so many spots for photographs and also one of the nicest indoor locations to have a ceremony in Australia. The staff are exceptional and the food and wine are top notch. Everyone had a wonderful time at my own wedding at Stones in 2016. And I always look forward to photographing other weddings at Stones of the Yarra Valley. I've photographed in UK, Italy, Maldives, Chicago, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and this is definitely one of the best places to get married in the world in my opinion.

Had lunch here today and a wine tasting. We were so impressed with the amazing service and beautiful grounds here. The food was really enjoyable and we liked several of their wines. The bread and hummus was ridiculously fresh. I really enjoyed my lamb shoulder. The chicken was also good. One thing for the chef to note some of the main dishes were partially cold but we still enjoyed them. The little churches are ideal for a perfect wedding spot. We highly recommend and will def return. Thankyou Lochie, Imogen and Nat for your impeccable service.

The team were so great with their communication, no question or request was ever too much. Had a pleasure to attend my friend's wedding at this charming winery. Although the venue wasn't particularly large, it exuded a warm and cozy atmosphere that made the celebration feel incredibly intimate and special. The picturesque vineyard provided a stunning backdrop, and the rustic elegance of the winery added to the overall charm.
Immerse was our first and only venue we looked at. We’d researched pretty much every venue in Victoria by the time we were ready to check them out in person. Immerse was one of our favourites. By chance we’d come across an Open Day advertised on their Facebook page, so we organised to visit Immerse first. As soon as we pulled into the car park we knew none of the other venues stood a chance. The grounds are absolutely stunning, with so many photo perfect sites! Our favourites were the gazebo swing and bridge by the lake, the gardens and vineyard, and the chapel.We’d been struggling to find a place that had both an amazing reception area AND chapel, since we were getting married in June and didn’t want to test the weather with a garden wedding. Immerse was the only venue where we LOVED both. The chapel has a beautiful airy feel with elegant wood accents and a gorgeous floor to ceiling window behind the alter. The reception area was massive, with a nice rustic mix of wood, stone and black iron accents. If you’re looking for somewhere elegant, simple, and a little rustic, then this is the perfect venue.And the staff were AMAZING! Our wedding coordinator Laura was an absolute legend. She was ready to help with absolutely anything and made the whole process so easy for us. The whole day ran seamlessly and continued to go off without a hitch into the evening with our second coordinator Shannon. The waitstaff during the reception were absolutely incredible. They were always nearby to assist and managed to remember what everyone was drinking, so there was never a glass empty. We received so many compliments from our guests specifically about how attentive and lovely all the waitstaff were.

Came here during autumn and the colours were absolutely stunning. Victoria has incredible wineries and this is one of them. They have a selection of wines to try. There is also a chapel here too so it is great for weddings. Accommodation is also available at the venue too.

Something about Immerse grabbed us on the first tour we took and we just knew it was the Venue for us!!We chose the beautiful chapel to get married in and it was the ceremony of our dreams. The communication and the lead up to the wedding was very seamless. They are so organised and always respond very quickly. But the day itself was AMAZING!!!Being able to get ready on site and also stay the night of the wedding made for the most relaxed day and could fully relax and enjoy selves, we were able to enjoy having our family and friends with us all morning and the day after the wedding we had breakfast on site which was extra special.Our wedding coordinator Kerrie was beyond incredible, she had everything under control and looked after all the suppliers bump in’s, so no one needed to contact us throughout the morning. She also was there if we needed anything at all and provided us with delicious coffee’s to kick start the morning.The food was unbelievable, our guests did not sop raving about the food and the hospitality all night! It was the first wedding any of us had been too where the staff continued to ask if we wanted any more food and would continue to bring food out until everyone was full. The table service for drinks was a big hit with our guests as well. We choose the feast me option and it was perfect. The reception is very large so it was nice not being squashed while eating or once the dance floor opened. We chose to extend the night until 12am and this included some chefs nibbles towards the end of the night so we were all well and truely fed.We could not be any more grateful for the entire experience we received at Immerse, from the grounds, to the staff and everything that was in-between you helped make our Wedding dreams come to life and we couldn’t recommend you enough to anyone else! Immerse was the perfect venue to have our wedding. The venue is stunning with plenty of photo opportunities, the wedding team is super friendly, attentive and promptly answered the many questions I sent through within the year leading up to our wedding. The food and wine servings were very generous, many guests said they had never been to a wedding before where the venue is so generous and free-flowing with the beer and wine. Our favourite touch was when they dedicated some time in the timeline for us to have private canapes in our room before we went to reception so we could catch our breath and relax for a few moments together. My wife and I recently had our wedding at Immerse. The chapel was incredible and hosted an amazing ceremony filled with those that we love and care about the most. The reception held over 140 guests comfortably and looked incredible. The 3 course meal was delicious and had all of our guests giving us high praise. The 20 rooms that were on site were fantastic and each of our guests who stayed couldn't speak highly enough of them. The wedding planner, admin and all other staff that we had worked with over our time leading up and on the day of the wedding were amazing and supported us in ensuring that our day was perfect.

We couldn't recommend Immerse more highly as a wedding venue.We were very impressed by the whole team.On the day they showed fantastic attention to detail - things like having the bridal room set-up in the morning ready with mimosas, and lots of thoughtful updates throughout the day (thank you to our amazing coordinator Laura!) , canapés post the photo hour/desert post the reception for us, and dessert when we arrived back at the conclusion of the reception.The service on the night was amazing - one of our family members drank only hot water and the staff gave him that the rest of the night without needing to be asked again), and all our guests raved about the food, and the speedy drinks service - no one had an empty glass all night!We felt so reassured throughout the whole process, and it made wedding planning (not just the wedding day) so much fun. The Immerse team were so helpful in their replies to our questions in the lead up and we couldn't believe how quickly we would get a response. From the very first meeting, we felt so excited to have our wedding at Immerse and it just exceeded our (already very high) expectations!
Immerse was incredible! From the day we entered and booked for our wedding all the way up to our day and even days after. Their service was amazing, all our guests were so happy with the service also. Food was insanely good! Our wedding day the staff went above and beyond to make the day that extra special. We are so happy with our wedding day and the service and staff that made it amazing too. Really easy to deal with, rooms were amazing also. Really recommend picking this venue for your big day. So many locations for amazing photos also.
We got married at Immerse in September 2023 and it was absolutely amazing. The team at Immerse, Laura in particular, made sure everything leading up to and the day was organized and ready to go, making the day go so smoothly. All I had to do was arrive, and relax. The convenience of the ceremony, reception and some accommodation all in one and the option to get ready on site was unbelievable. And the food. My husband still dreams about the food from the wedding. The staff on the night were so attentive and ensuring all the guests were having a good time, managing dietary requirements and ensuring drinks were being filled up. We couldn't recommend Immerse enough with how well everything went and stress free the day was.

Immerse was such a beautiful venue for our wedding.The pre-wedding assistance and guidance was great, the team provided lots of recommendations and always willing to help!During the wedding itself, the wedding coordinators made my life as a bride super easy and very attentive.The food was DELICIOUS, we had so many compliments about the food and the service was impeccable. Honestly could not fault it as a wedding venue.
Venue was very nice.Staff were generally helpful.Gardens were lovely despite being out of flower season. Probably the only downside was how wet/muddy the grounds were seeing as the weather wasn't that bad.Guest room was big and clean. The bath would have been a nice touch if check-in/out times allowed more time to enjoy it, instead it was more inconvenient not having a way to stop shower water splashing around the bathroom. Room fridge/freezer not being built in was very noisy, we turned it off but then had to deal with their ice defrosting.More hooks to hang clothes would have been very useful, considering every guest is attending a wedding, only 2 hooks on the back of a door isn't ideal. Wi-fi would be nice considering the room price.Drinks throughout the wedding including wine tasting were all very good, the YVBC Pale Ale was a highlight.Dinner was delicious.Breakfast wasn't ideal, the waitress got my order wildly wrong and then didn't offer to correct it, just asked if I would still eat it as she moved on. Considering the menu is quite small I'm not sure where the confusion came in.
We recently got married at Immerse and it was the venue of our dreams. You cannot fault their service, not only on the day, but in every aspect of the planning and organisation. The grounds are gorgeous, perfect for photos. The convenience of having the ceremony, reception and accommodation for guests all in the same location is such a bonus. We got married at Immerse in August last year and had the absolute best day! All the wedding staff are incredibly helpful, always happy to answer any questions we had. We loved our menu, all the food was so delicious it was hard to choose, and our guests complemented on how great the service was on the night, their glasses were never empty. The grounds are stunning, even in winter we ended up with amazing photos and we took full advantage of their accommodation, having it fully reserved for our wedding was a nice touch. They were always on top of every little detail and made planning our wedding super easy!
I really enjoyed dinner with friends in this beautiful venue! A nice cosy atmosphere. I had the entree gnocchi and main salmon and both were perfect. Staff were attentive and food and drink was fantastic. We also attended a wedding here not long ago and it was stunning. So glad a friend brought me back for dinner. A beautiful spot for any function or a meal!
We got married back in March and absolutely loved Immerse, can't fault them at all from our first visit right through to packing up the next day. Laura our first meeting host & coordinator on the day was fantastic, so were the other team members we dealt with - outstanding communication as there's always someone ready to answer an email or phone call. Food/drinks/service staff were excellent, so many great photo spots throughout the grounds, onsite accommodation was ideal and just in general can't recommend more highly.
We had our daughters wedding here yesterday. From the moment we got there to prepare we were looked after by Laura, our wedding coordinator, she went over and above to make us very comfortable, providing coffees, hot chocolate , teas. What a wedding... In a good way! This place ticks a lot of boxes if you are looking for a beautiful place with a fantastic outlook and good grub.The food was good, but the buffet style dessert bar was perfect! I have never seen a buffet styled dessert bar, but this thing was going off like it was the last ever Taylor Swift concert.
We could not recommend YRE highly enough. They were such a professional operation on our wedding day, everything ran super smoothly. We loved their no nonsense approach and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Anna and Anton are so flexible and easy going, we were reassured everything would work out wonderfully, which of course it did! We also cannot go past how absolutely incredible the food was. Restaurant quality with many of our guests saying it was the best wedding food they had ever eaten! Wish we could get married there again - and really hope some of our friends get married here so we can be invited back as a guest!

I have been here before for breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed it. Food was excellent and we were very well looked after. Reasonably priced and we had good service.The reason why I gave it 3 stars now is that we went there for a birthday lunch. We weren’t treated like it was a birthday , not even a small flower on the table or a sparkler, so why ask what it is on your booking form when it makes no difference at all (remember, you created an expectation by asking that)The food was very average and bland and something I could have whipped up at home myself instead of spending money elsewhere. The staff really were very unfriendly and not very helpful to the point where we felt uncomfortable asking for anything. My guess is the manager is a tyrant as they all looked like dears in headlights. I could be wrong.I’m sorry about the 3 stars as I really did previously enjoy your venue. Maybe up your game a bit.

Can’t believe we hadn’t discovered Vue on Halcyon before! 4 of us had planned to be bushwalking out of Healesville but down came the rain, the mist rolled in and the temperature plummeted! What to do? Lunch of course!One of our walkers had been here before and recommended it, so along we went. Warm welcome, a vacant table near the gas fire and a really nice menu promised to make our decision not to walk a good one. And so it turned out to be.Choice of smaller and larger plates is good and there’s a pretty good dessert menu too. We had the gnocchi with arrabbiata sauce, the salmon, the special which was a whole Buxton trout superbly cooked in paper, and the pasta with prawns. My arrabbiata was great - smooth, tender gnocchi and a sauce that was rich and with a nice hit of chilli at the end. Every other dish was a hit too.I hadn’t heard of this venue which is beautifully situated with vineyard views through to surrounding hills. The venue has space for weddings and special events but the restaurant shares the tasting space. We were astounded to see how few people were there on the day, but it was cold and wet …..and we did wonder if there is a promotional program in place to spread the word.The wine? We had a bottle of the 2016 Cabernet. Truly superb! I did see some bottles going home after lunch.My advice? Try Vue on Halcyon. With so many hospitality businesses struggling right now it’s up to us to keep the really good ones going. This is a really good one!

We could not have been happier with all aspects of the wedding.The service all through the process including on the day was 100% outstanding. They made the whole process which can be really daunting, absolutely effortless and we felt like we were in really good hands the whole process. Special shout out to Dean, Rennae and Georgina who were all just absolutely top notch.The venue itself is stunning and they keep it maintained to an extremely high standard, so it was beautiful on the day and our photos looks amazing.The price is absolutely reasonable for what you get and they go out of their way to go above and beyond in all aspects.The food was next level at the wedding, so shout out to the chefs and food staff. All our guests commented on how good the food was. The wine is also wonderful and you can tell how passionate Dean is about that aspect of the venue. He could talk about wine all day and will take the time to explain everything you could possibly want to know about the wedding.Communication with the venue was impeccable. they took the time to answer every dinger questions we had, and did so expediently.The sound system at the venue is great, so your music/band will also sound gratin the day.I could not say a single bad thing about our experience of having our wedding at Vue on Halcyon. Celebrated a birthday with friends yesterday at Vue on Halcyon and couldn’t be happier. The food was delicious and the service and beautiful views are second to none. We will definitely continue to return to this venue. One suggestion would be to add two or three specials of the day to the menu as it is a limited menu and once you have visited a few times you are really looking for something new to try.Thank you for a lovely experience 😊

We thoroughly enjoyed our brunch at Vue on Halcyon on Saturday. Food was delicious, staff efficient & knowledgeable and of course, the views are magnificent. Air conditioning was much appreciated on such a hot day.
Been dining off the breakfast menu for almost 10 years—first time for lunch, and as always a pleasure to be looked after by Renee and her team.The produce is local and fresh, perfectly pairs with a splash of the 2015 Chardonnay.Can’t always guarantee it with the fickle Melbourne spring season, but if you manage to get in on a sunny day, you’ll get a view through of the open paddocks through the open patio doors that is relaxing and breathtaking at the same time.
Thanks again for a fabulous experience. We are regular breakfast guest but decided to try lunch on Sunday.The platter we shared was plenty for us to share. The coffee and chai were both lovely, my partner loved the big breakfast and I loved the eggs Benedict, everything was so tasty and well cooked. We had our wedding at The Farm on the weekend and have been blown away by how perfectly the day went! Us and all of our guests were beyond impressed with the food, service and how gorgeous the place looked. Our event organiser Nicole and our personal attendant Freya were absolute angels, so kind, accomodating and organised. We couldn't have imagined a better day!
We recently got married at The Farm Yarra Valley, and it was absolutely perfect! The venue is stunning—rustic yet modern with beautiful views. The team was amazing, going above and beyond to make our day special. Our guests raved about the delicious food and wine. We highly recommend it for anyone planning a wedding or special event!
I'm writing a review as a guest of a wedding. Though give it a few weeks and I think the bride will review too.The venue is stunning, the ceremony was inside due to weather (I saw the outside option too, also gorgeous). The Farm's staff are professional and kind. The food was fantastic, feasting style encourages conversation and allows for people to have more of what they want rather than an alternate drop. There are some beautiful photo options and a place for a photo booth that is covered and away from the main reception venue. Oh and for bonus points The Farm allows dogs to be included in the ceremony meaning the bride and groom could have their beloved fur baby in the wedding party and in some photos at the wedding venue. As is to be expected service animals only in the reception venue.I fully recommend metalheads check this place out if they are looking for a potential venue. The groom is a muso on the indie metal scene and his bride spends a lot of time at his gigs, so about an hour of that music was played. The staff enjoyed the music as much as the guests did I think.The downside and the reason for the lost star... accessiblity. I was helping the Grandmother of the Bride who is in a wheelchair move through The Farm, from the carpark to the chapel to the reception venue. This has horrendous accessiblity issues especially for wheelchair accessiblity, we had two in our party in wheelchairs, one electric and one manual. We were directed around the back of a working winery, down an incredibly steep sloap (think the steepest angle of a standard driveway steep) and through a small industrial room. Trust me a manual wheelchair on that slope is a lot. When the ceremony ended there was no one to help us open doors only intended to be opened from the outside or direct us to the reception venue. While we found our way and it didn't ruin our night it was a little off putting to be left to find our own way on rough concrete, along a road and through substantial gravel.As I said it didn't ruin our night (nothing ruins a good party for my grandmother) it is just something for The Farm and future wedding party's to keep in mind.
I was performing at a function today as The Sour Grapes Band and I just wanted to say that The Farm Yarra Valley is amazing. From Nicole who looked after us, to all the staff there, meals were amazing, and even the staff at cellar door were all friendly and very knowledgeable about the wines. 10/10 guys. Well done.
Beautiful place with beautiful wine 🤩 we loved our visit to Rob Dolan, it was a perfect place to visit with dogs with some very yummy pup treats available to buy!
We had the most incredible winter wedding at The Farm. From start to finish the staff were so professional and organised. We fell in love with the venue the first visit - the prefect setting for the rustic, yet modern wedding vibe we were going for. Our guests raved about how beautiful the setting looked and how amazing the food was (foodie family and friends). We could not fault the service on the day - all of the staff were incredible. In particular Nicole and Jade really went above and beyond to make the day perfect. We had high expectations, but The Farm really exceeded them. Could not recommend this venue more highly.
Highly recommend this venue for your wedding! I'm a wedding photographer and have shot here many times and each time is just as good. The food is AMAZING the staff are great and there are so many gorgeous photo spots around the property.
We had our wedding at the Farm in April with Lisa as our co ordinator and Jade as our helper on the day.We cannot fault a single thing at the Farm. Our wedding experience was absolutely perfect, from Nicole showing us round to, to Lisa helping us plan our timeline to Jade helping me into the car to go back to our accommodation after the wedding. We had a wine tasting as well which was super fun with really nice and knowledgeable cellar door staff helping out.Lisa was the best co ordinator we could ask for, so helpful and always so fast to answer my million questions. Lisa and the staff repurposed our ceremony flowers for our reception and did the most amazing job.Jade was so friendly and a very welcome addition to our day that I didn't know we needed. She took care of the little things, like holding my veil, bringing us food and drink inbetween photos and carrying my bag for me to make sure I didn't forget anything.The food was also great, we still get compliments on it. Make sure you include the Wagyu dish for your canapes hour, it was the best!!The actual venue itself is stunning, with so many great locations for photos and farm animals to also feature in them.We have had so many guests tell us it was the best wedding they've ever been to and the staff were so lovely and kind to them.Thank you so much to all of the staff at the Farm, Lisa, Nicole and Jade for helping to make our wedding the best day of our lives.

The Farm delivered our absolute dream wedding. The service by the team went well above our greatest expectations. Lisa was our wedding coordinator and took care of absolutely everything for us. Our guests have all commented how attentive and amazing the service was. From setting up all of our decorations, to having our own personal attendant on the day to carry my veil and drinks while we took photos, to ensuring my relatives were warm with blankets during the outdoor speeches - the team had thought of everything. We were so impressed with this venue, the food was exceptional and the wine list delicious! Could not rate our experience more highly!

We got married at The Farm on 12 April 2024 and it was honestly perfect! We got married on the 10/03/24 and we couldn't be happier with everything at The Farm. The service, organisation, communication, food (to die for!), areas of the venue (so many beautiful areas for photos and for guests!), even the atmosphere of having speeches outside was incredible. It was an extremely hot day and the ceremony was moved inside without any issues, and we didn't need to stress about anything. We were also pretty blown away with the support we felt throughout the planning process and on the day (thank you to Lisa and the team!!). Everything looked perfect and the day/night ran so smoothly. Our dream day came true and we are so grateful!

We had our wedding at the farm last weekend and it was SO GOOD.The venue is picturesque and created a lovely space for us and our guests to party in.Booking was really easy and in the lead up they were super helpful and prompt with all our questions, preferences and last minute changes.On the day Lisa and her team ran the whole wedding perfectly – we didn’t see any of it and the day ran seamlessly around us. They were onto the details and what needed to happen when. Service was really professional and friendly all night. There was so much food and it was such good quality everyone was stuffed by the end of it, including the bride and groom which is unheard of! We had lots of dietaries and they were all really well accommodated.Definitely have The Farm on your list of wedding venues to check out, you will have the best day.
We got married at The Farm in September, and could not have been happier with our whole experience. From the first moment we visited The Farm, we knew this was where we had to get married.The venue is beautiful, and has a range of stunning options for your ceremony and photos (no need to worry about wet weather back-ups, every space is gorgeous). The food and wine were fantastic (mmmm the lamb ....) - everyone complimented the menu and feast-style dining and the team were able to cater for all sorts of dietary requirements. We can't wait to come back for future events!What truly sets The Farm apart is the staff. Elysia, Katie and Natalie made the process stress-free - patiently answering our questions, providing advice and resources to help things run smoothly, and just went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible day. I cannot recommend The Farm enough to any future brides and grooms (I wish I could give them a higher rating than five stars!!!)
Our wedding on 21.04.23. The best day ever. We didn't want it to end. The Farm is beautiful, picturesque, inviting and welcoming. It conveys the ideal atmosphere that you want for yourselves and your guests. The food is next level. Absolutely delicious. The wine? Exceptional. Everyone who works at The Farm is so friendly and helpful. They were also the most calm presence needed on the day. Alli as our coordinator was so good at hearing our ideas and making them even better.
We had our wedding at The Farm 3 weeks ago and it was absolutely amazing! The best day of our lives! Elysia and all the staff at The Farm are incredible at what they do and ensure everything runs seamlessly. From our initial tour to the night of our wedding, every little detail was thought about and planned perfectly.The food was delicious and there was so much of it! We had The Farm also make our cake and it was superb. If you are after an indoor/outdoor option, The Farm has it all. Our night was a little chilly but they had the heaters going on the deck and out on the lawn, as well as the fire going. It created such a lovely atmosphere!The staff were so good at looking after our guests, making sure they all had plenty of food and drink and the people with dietary requirements were catered for so well.We were lucky enough to have our ceremony outside in front of the barn but the inside of the barn is just as beautiful now that they have done it all up! We got married at the end of last year and what an absolutely amazing day it was, at the most beautiful venue - The Farm Yarra Valley. Elysia and her team are incredible and made us feel absolutely at ease throughout the whole planning process and in the months, weeks and days leading up to our love day! It was absolutely everything we had hoped and wished for. We've had so many compliments saying it was the best venue, and the food! Chefs kiss - fantastic! Well, what can we say other than a massive thank you for your role in our special day, everything was perfect! Your team went above and beyond in making us feel comfortable and we feel that we made the absolute right choice in selecting your venue.All of our guests couldn't stop raving about the setting, the food and the ambiance.
This was a fabulous day out and the staff were absolutely lovely.The winery has a delightful atmosphere and I’m very pleased to have discovered it as it’s definitely on my radar for a return visit.We started with the shared entree platter and a bottle of moscato (do enjoy a wine tasting before you leave) this has the interesting addition of pickled calamari alongside smoked salmon, olives, artichokes, yummy feta and perfectly delicious bread.Main wise I selected the Yarra Valley eye fillet with semolina gnocchi and red wine jus. There was also a surprise purée on the plate, to my further surprise the texture of the gnocchi was different to what I expected but it was perfectly delicious all the same. My husband had the chicken breast stuffed with feta and semi dried tomatoes which impressed.We were unbelievably full but dessert called, the cheese board with locally made quince and the pear ‘helene’. The namesake dessert was a nice subtle texture way to finish washed down with a Yarra Valley Tea Co peppermint blend.Being a family run business l felt there was an extra level of super friendly service and no pretension which you often experience with other wineries in the region. We had a simply wonderful experience
Amazing views and food for our wedding. Food service was wonderful too. Let down by the event management team.They were cold, inflexible and at times argumentative. Felt like we had to nitpick over the contract and inclusions rather than just trust them to be reasonable. On the day they made a small error over timing of canapes/reception start but refused to admit any issue.

We had our wedding at Vines last weekend and honestly 5 stars just does not come close to doing them justice!! Everything was so flawless - from the food, to the beautiful scenery, the coordination and table settings - everything completely and utterly exceeded our expectations. Our coordinator Rodney was fabulous from the get go - he ensured everything ran so smoothly on the day and gave us so many wonderful ideas that helped make our day so special. We were so blown away with everything, and our guests have not stopped raving about how beautiful this venue is. The food was unbelievable and their ability to cater to various dietary requirements was second to none (we can vouch their vegan food is EXCEPTIONAL). I expected our wedding day to be a little more chaotic than at was but we were just so calm and relaxed knowing Rodney had everything organised and under control all day. Could not recommend these guys enough!

I had the privilege of DJaying here yesterday. The staff were courteous the Venue looked newly renovated , the scenic view was spectacular and the food was very good. Plenty of room on the dance floor for dancing and the music does not travel over the guests to get to the dance floor like other reception centres. Definitely 5 stars. 🎧🎤

Incredible venue. My partner and I just had our wedding on the 19/02/23 and could not be happier. I’m a self admitted control freak (lol) and can be difficult to deal with when under pressure, but the team at Vines were so patient and calmed me right down any time I had any concerns. A special thank you to Zoe our wedding coordinator for going above and beyond and answering all of my 500 emails promptly and Angela the owner for also doing the same. The night was even better than I envisioned and I am so thankful for everything you all did for Jeremy and I. We had our wedding on the 18/12/2022 and all I can say to future brides is that you WANT to get married at The Vines of the Yarra Valley.Since we confirmed our date they have been nothing but amazing, replying to emails so quickly, answering the brides 100 questions and being super flexible. We couldn’t thank the owners enough, even though we couldn’t make our numbers they didn’t just take our money they offered us other suggestions to make our day even better. A massive thank you to the ceremony coordinator Zoe, who was amazing on the day. When we did have a hiccup instead of stepping back and getting the bride to deal with it, she called the company and got them to come back and fix it and let the bride relax the morning of the wedding. Steve the reception coordinator, was amazing! There was no glass left empty and the night ran so smooth! My guest’s loved the food and still a week later they are still telling me how good the food was! Overall if you want a beautiful wedding where your guests are leaving happy with full belly’s and endless photos of the beautiful scenery, The Vines is the place for you!Thank you again!!
I shot a wedding video here at Vines of the Yarra in September. And even with the on-and-off rainy weather, it was a very beautiful location with very pretty views.And the staff are nice to us too :) That always helps us get great images for a bride and groom :)
We have no words for how amazing all the staff at Vine are. From the owners all the way to the wait staff on the night. Planning our wedding was made so much easier with the help George, Angela and Steven! Everything is phenomenal from the chic modern venue, views, food and coordination.It goes a long way to say that these people are not just great at what they do, but they love what they do and genuinely good people at heart.Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and we have Vines to thank a lot for that.The only shame is that we can only go back if there is a function. Would love to just travel up and have dinner or lunch there occasionally.

Vines of the Yarra Valley is quite simply the best. We had our wedding there and could not have been happier! Everything; the venue, the inclusions, the staff, the views are just perfect. Angela, Rodney and the entire team are so friendly, accommodating and will ensure your day is perfect. As a result of COVID, we had to postpone our day three times and again, this process was stress-free as Angela calmed our worried minds and assured us everything would be okay, making arrangements easily to suit our needs. Can't speak to the wine tasting experience here but a group of 5 of us had lunch here. Menu is extensive but food quality is not good. Very bland. Service was also very poor from the group of young lads working in the restaurant. Hardly came over, weren't around when we wanted to order more drinks. I had to get up from the table 3 times to go and find someone.
We attended a 60th Birthday celebration in October. The staff were outstanding and worked well as a fantastic team. Nothing was too much trouble. Take a bow. You were wonderful!
Fabulous service from Briony and Sienna at dinner tonight. Every dish was delicious and superbly presented. We arrived in time to watch the sun set, the restaurant was a haven from the cold weather, and as we ate, sipped our beverages and chatted through the evening, we spied the ships and boats sailing through the bay. What a delightful experience - thank you!
Ruined day with the service staff spilling hot coffee all over me.Had to rush back to accommodation to quickly wash off the stains from my clothes & jacket, hang up to dry, before I could get out again.For the inconvenience I was compensated the costs of my orders - AUD $20.50(2 hot drinks and a serving of fries)For that I lost travel time - to & fro, laundry time, and shoes which I can only wash after I fly.(I have only one pair of shoes for this trip)Recommend not going especially if you have young children going along too - the cups are too narrow-based - they topple over easily.Additionally, email response from Jack Rabbit can be summarized as:"You got refunded. Our coffee cups are unique. Have a good trip in Australia"Photos enclosed are after washing my trousers and jacket in the restroom with water and rubbing off the stains (as much as I can) before the stains remain permanent.
I have to say the view at this place is amazing. We went to try a wine tasting and we share a cheese platter. Very busy for an amazing sunny day. We order and pay at the counter for two tastings and the share platter (cheese).They bring us the tasting and the cheese and that’s it we have to do the tasting ourselves reading what wine ect ect. Honestly we have been in so many wine tasting in Victoria and SA and this is the first time nobody explain to us about the wine, and this is our first time we didn’t buy any wine. Cheese platter was a piece of tasty cheese and Brie and some ricotta mousse on top the board. Amazing view and that’s it nothing else. Sorry guys
Million dollar view with supermarket food was very underwhelmed by the food here we tried a few different things and nothing was exceptional just average.Special should out to the meat platter which is about 300grams of 2 different supermarket deli meats and not great ones at that i think silver side and ham! pure rubbish I wish they had made it clear exactly what a meat platter was. Was very disappointed when it arrived and the entire table was shocked alongside me.
Nice surroundings, friendly staff but no warning that we would wait over an hour between entree and main course. Those of us who didn't have entree were very hungry. Booked for 1.15 pm, mains arrived after 3.00 pm. Fish was nice, duck was terrible and steak was without flavour.
I will admit the view is stunning!Wine is good too, but the service is really average. Looks like staff don’t know what they doing here… lack of training or motivation?The food is decent for certain dishes : mussels are good but very small portions, prawn pasta very tasty, burgers and calamari very disappointed. The cafe at Jack Rabbit is a fantastic place for lunch on a pleasant sunny day. The food is great. I can recommend the seafood platter, with Pinot Grigio to go with it.
Went for lunch with friends.Half of us enjoyed their food and the others, like myself, found it underwhelming.I had the Angus burger which was plated like a very simple dish. I really thought it was just for show -- to highlight that it's just a simple dish that packs a punch. Unfortunately it was just that ... plain and simple.Some of us had the wine tasting and we were brought test tubes with wine in it. It was served to us with a piece of paper. No explanation at all.There was an event starting so maybe the affected the overall service.We did enjoy the Pinot Noir and the view.

Laura as Front of House is exceptional. We arrived for lunch to discover our booking had been made incorrectly (our fault), and that the restaurant was booked-out. Laura went out of her way to re-arrange the tables to fit us in. The food was superb (the pistachio and Parmesan crumbed lamb cutlets are recommended), the outdoor tables under the umbrellas with views over the manicured lawns and vineyards to Corio Bay beautiful, and the staff welcoming and attentive. A very memorable lunch.

Beautiful spot to overlook the vineyard and water in the back. We sat outside which had undercover seating and enjoyed a great meal overlooking the stunning views. The standout dish was of course the lamb blackstrap and surprisingly the focaccia - the braised short ribs was also good. Service was great too!

We went to terindah with a table of six today, absolutely loved it. Between us we had two starters, a main, and three sides, which was plenty of good. Gravalax is served with an amazing horseradish sauce, we loved the pork terrine, and for mains we had the lamb, mushrooms, and fish. All of it was brilliant, would highly recommend and will return again. Also loved the Chardonnay and the service!

Fathers day lunch which ended up being an extremely poor experience. Service was bad, the managers attitude was very very poor and unprofessional. Felt like we were at an expensive cafe with meals not winery quality. Walked away unhappy and only positive was having a quick drink were the at the tram which the 2 staff members on duty that day being extremely nice which was the exact opposite to those at the restaurant.
Had a really special lunch here for two on a Sunday arvo in the shed. Beautiful outlook, beaming sun shining through the floor-to-ceiling windows, and attentive service. The portion sizes are a bit confusing, but we were able to land on something that worked for us.The mussels, pork belly, chicken and wedges were all fantastic. They weren't selling bottles of the pinot gris (but would sell glasses?) and the food took a bit longer than expected for the small amount of attendees there, but if I'm giving this a 4.5/5 then I'm happy to round up to 5. Keep up the good work.
This was our first visit to Terindah Estate and we really enjoyed ourselves there. The food was excellent and my fish was not overcooked. Juicy on the inside yet it had a crispy skin. What could I ask for more? And the views were spectacular. From where we were seated, we could look back at Melbourne City and also to Mt. Macedon.
My partner and I had lunch at The Shed today and the entire experience was sensational. The new menu designed by the new chef is outstanding. Our entire lunch was delicious along with the wines.Compliments to the new chef and to our waitress Kathryn who had a terrific sense of humour and looked after us so well.We live locally and already look forward to our next meal at Terindah.

Glamping at Terindah is run Twilight Glamping NOT Terindah. I don't write negative reviews so I attach my photographs taken at 3.30 pm on 22/01/22 in 32 °C. so you can compare against the professional photographers pictures. Pack your hiking gear to walk to the beach, antivenom ? (the surrounding grass is very high) and a large beach umbrella (absolutely no shade as you are in the middle of a field). Purchased this as a gift for a romantic young couple and they were somewhat disappointed comparing the professional photos against the reality

We visited marnong estate yesterday. We had a great wine tasting. Allison was amazing, she was extremely knowledgeable as well as welcoming.We enjoyed a great afternoon with some pizza from the cafe and enjoying the amazing view on the grass.
We are at Cucina for breakfast. Beautiful venue food and price point. Wish they had a few more options for breakfast like a smashed avocado with chorizo maybe. But otherwise was stunning. The outdoor cafe is a great idea but the line was extraordinarily long and wasn't prepared to wait. May want to consider this from a service perspective on how to reduce wait times. No one likes standing in a line!
Cucina 3064 at Marnong Estate in Mickleham is the perfect place for a laid back, casual meal. The atmosphere is great, food is amazing, staff are outstanding and the views of the valley and vineyards are breathtaking. They are open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner and I highly recommend a visit to this beautiful place.

The staff were extremely attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome throughout our dining . On top of all this, the prices were very reasonable for the quality of food and service provided. We went there for wine tasting and we had a fantastic hosting by Alison who had a really good knowledge about not only the wines at Marnong but about wines in general and we learnt a few things. Apart from that we also enjoyed some nice wines with a cheese platter and breathtaking views. Would definitely be a highlight for our visiting friends and family.
Recently had my wedding at Marnong Estate and could not fault it.From the initial planning phase to the actual wedding day, communication was great. No request was too small. Our event manager Natasha was amazing! We also loved the menu tasting.The Bride and Bridesmaids stayed in the cabins the night before and it was perfect. We were able to settle in and enjoy the venue before having everyone come to us the day of the wedding.Ourselves, our families and our guests could not fault the venue!We are still getting compliments on how great the food, wine, service and scenery were.We had our event in the Green Grove followed by the Woolshed.We will also not forget Heidi, who served our bridal table! She did a great job and was a great addition to our day.Everyone was warm, and attentive cant fault the staff.We had the best day and have already come back for more food at Marnong.Thank you for an incredible experience, we love this place!And now its safe to say over 100 of our guests loved it too
My wife and I dined at Marnong Estate on Saturday. We both found that the service was excellent and our waiter had a lot of knowledge about the menu. This made the dining experience so much more enjoyable. Even though it was a long way to go, being on the other side of Melbourne from where we live, I would go there again.
Came here for the first time for a Wine Tasting and was highly impressed! We had the 6 Wines Tasting and ordered the $25 cheese board and it was absolutely value for money. The Staff we encountered were so friendly, shout out to Alison who did the Tasting for us, she was so passionate and knowledgeable and made the experience even more enjoyable.The view tops it all off!

What can I say other than AMAZING!!! The food, service, atmosphere and the amazing view. My sister has her wedding on the 9th of March. We had so much fun! We ate every single last bite of the amazing food!The steak had so much flavour it was incredibly delicious. The sword fish was moist and had an amazing taste. My fav dis was the king fish carpaccio.Everything was delicious and fresh!Our server was Kayla ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ an absolute superstar!The service was first class. My sister ordered her cake from brunetti which they forgot to deliver on the day. The beautiful staff member by the name of Kayla bought a cake in just so my sister had a cake to cut. Kayla was so professional, kind and sweet, she made my sisters day complete! I recently attended the private event of Burak and Talya, and I must say I was quite disappointed with the overall experience. The venue had a lot of potential, but several aspects of the event fell short of our expectations.As a guest, I didn't receive dessert, which was a major letdown.Furthermore, the drinks were also missing from our service, which is a basic expectation at any event. When we asked the staff for drinks, their rudeness and unhelpful attitude only made the situation more frustrating.The food, when it finally arrived, was another point of concern. Not only did it come out much later than expected, but the portion sizes were incredibly small. Really disappointing.
Avoid this place at all costs!!!Firstly, the customer service provided during the event was notably lacking in politeness and professionalism. Moreover, the issue of drinks not being served to the guests in a timely and efficient manner was a significant inconvenience and issue. Instead of receiving the anticipated service from the staff, my own brother and several guests had to take it upon themselves to serve drinks by repeatedly fetching them from the bar. I was charged $20 per head for soft drinks and had 1 glass the entire night although I asked multiple times to staff for more.We had desserts included in our package. Around 1/3 of our guests missed out on the desserts. I don’t understand how this is possible when I paid for 66 guests and we had exactly 65 guests turn up. I had multiple complaints that night from guests asking why there were no desserts for them.Additionally, communication with the venue is problematic. When we attempted to address issues and express our concerns, it appeared that our feedback was met with indifference, leaving us feeling unheard and undervalued as customers.The most significant breach of our agreement pertained to the seating arrangements. We had explicitly requested 66 white Tiffany chairs for our event, but upon arrival, we discovered that all the chairs provided were black, deviating from our contractual agreement.Furthermore, we would like to bring to your attention that we were asked to remove a previous review posted by my partner, which detailed the issues we encountered during the event. I very much assume this will be the case for this review too.
My wife and I were celebrating our first anniversary with a glass of wine and a nice lunch. We were really excited to enjoy the lovely estate and then sit down for a bite. The booking process requested for a credit card number up front... okay, fair enough. We were 5 minutes early to our booking but were asked to come back when the "table was ready". Later, when being seated, we were put right next to a thoroughfare with an automatic door that kept opening every few seconds. Looking around, we noticed (and I counted) 10 other empty tables for two. I asked the waiter if we could be moved to a more suitable location, and they claimed that "they were full"... okay, fair enough. The meal was delicious, the wine was really nice, the automatic door was extremely annoying and the other tables... still empty. I can not fault the food but at least be accommodating to guests next time please.
I just want to say a BIG thank you to all your staff who waited upon us at a wedding I attended yesterday 28/10/2023.Especially a young waitress Heidi who has exceptional customer service skills and a beautiful smile too.The venue was wonderful and the beautiful grounds surrounding it were spectacular.All around a fabulous evening.
The restaurant views at sunset and the ambiance was truly lovely. The service amazing. Enjoyed a lovely house Shiraz. Unfortunately the quality of food at a high price point, way off the mark and really disappointing. Has major appeal and potential, however the food needs to meet a desired standard. If it can, we’ll certainly be back.

I loved my experience in the Russo Estate winery. Due to being under 18, I cannot say anything about the wine, but I can say that your staff were really helpful and caring, and the setting of the area was beautiful, added with a spectacular view of the grape farms outside. The food also felt like a dream come true. You do not want to miss out on this lovely experience!

Venue was nice. Food was standard - presentation was ok but the lamb was not thoroughly cooked so it was hard to chew and the salmon was well over cooked. The bitter brown sauce over the lamb just really did not pair and was a weird tasting combination. Overpriced for the quality of the food. It was more like a pub meal to be honest. Service could be better. Would come back to try other dishes (maybe pastas or pizzas) out of convenience sake and to enjoy the winery view as we live close by.

We went on Melbourne Cup Day after booking. For the first time we were not in the main dining area but in the adjacent room. It ended up a better experience as the main area was really hot and stuffy on the day which would have been an issue. The food was delicious as usual and right up there with the best pizza and pasta you can get anywhere. Loved the pepperoni pizza and the 2 pastas with seafood and fungi. To top it off the staff that looked after us were attentive with good advice on the food, and best of all super nice. Thanks Zonzo looking forward to next time.

We had a family lunch at Zonzo and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Food was delicious and homely, the service was fantastic, great to see service with a smile and the estate looks pristine. Their Zoncello Limoncella spritz is a winner on a warm day. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay both went down well. Definitely coming back
Food was AMAZING! The pizza was delicious and the bread was very tasty. The antipasto was also great with the prosciutto and spicy salami. The staff were extremely friendly and kind. I accidentally dropped my knife of the table and within TWO seconds, a waiter pick it up for me and bring me a new one. All the food was so filling and delicious, I could eat it everyday! All the food was quick to arrive especially the drinks. The view From my seat was incredible, especially seeing the vineyards over sunset. Would absolutely recommend!

I’d like to express my disappointment on our experience at your venue on Saturday 10th August.A group of four, booked to have a long lunch, taking the set menu option.We were extremely rushed. The waiters were inattentive. The food came out cold and quickly.We had to ask for clean plates and cutlery after our initial starters. We ordered a bottle of wine and our drinks were left empty.After our last course, no one came to us to see if we wanted more drinks/dessert. Left us there for the last hour of our two hour seating.We got up to pay at the counter and the manager (assuming) didn’t acknowledge us. Abruptly placed the eftpos machine in front to pay. No communication or eye contact what so ever.For the money spent, safe to say we will not be returning Zonzo and there certainly won’t be any recommending moving forward.
We were very impressed with the food, service. The view from the restaurant was breathtaking. The staff were extremely helpful and the food was abundant. We had more than enough food for our guests. I highly recommend Zonzo Estate.
We went to Zonzo with a. Group of friends last Sunday and we got a table in the big shed outside, it was freezing and there are not enough heathers. When other tables were leaving empty the heathers were left there (they could have been moved closer to those people that were left).We had to go for a fix menu, two of us were lactose free and this was not taken in consideration at all- for the antipasti we had to ask for a lactose free option and the main was definitely not lactose free.I got my wine glass with wine in it taken away and the waitress/waiter were cleaning the table as much as possible pushing us out, would have been nicer to let us know they were closing instead. My friend got moscato with her cake and I was not given a glass, they count short of one glass so I did not get one. All over the atmosphere was freezing, service was not the best and I had chips and pizza (which was not too bad). Make sure you are not seated in there if it is full winter.
We attended as part of a group of 13 people, therefore we were forced to take the set menu, starting with antipasto, then pizza and then lamb shoulder/chips salad at $65 per person.My problem with the antipasto is that it did not include any cheese, and we were expected to pay extra to have cheese included. It would not have impacted Zonzo’s precious profits greatly if they included a piece of mozzarella cheese in the middle of each plate.The pizza was top notch.The final course, large pieces of slow-cooked lamb shoulder, chips and salad was a bit basic. Authentic Italian cuisine would have had the lamb imbedded in some flavoursome sauce accompanied with something like roasted potatoes and vegetables rather than just chips and salad. I would have preferred pasta options rather than meat.So overall, the location is great, the service was ok despite the staff appearing to be young kids, but I am not a fan of their set menu, it was basic and did not include any pasta.
The last time we dined we had a very good experience. Food was fabulous. Antipasto, Pizza's, Lamb, Salad and Roast Potatoes. A party of 4.This time we had a party of 6. Food portions were smaller than previously with the exception of the pizza's. Roast potatoes gone. Antipasto small. Small bowl of salad. Fried chips replaced the roast potatoes. Slow cooked lamb was ordinary. All between 6 people!What a shame as we were looking forward to enjoying the experience with close friends.Oh, and 1 hour and 45 minutes into our lunch experience. We were told to pay the bill and left no choice but to leave sharp on two hours of our luncheon. What happened to service, and quality of food!Over $540 spent. Not happy. Will not return.
Me and my beautiful partner went for dinner on “World Limoncello day” (pure coincidence) and we were very happy with the overall experience. Food was delicious, service prompt despite the fact that the venue almost was fully booked out. Best of all was the service by our fantastic waitress Jade. She was knowledgeable, personal, down to earth and efficient, she took this 8.5/10 experience and made it into a 10/10. Good service is KEY! We will definitely come back for our 3rd visit soon to see Jade and the team. Well done 🙏🏼👌🏼

We used to visit this venue quite frequently, but it has unfortunately devolved into an overpriced, unremarkable venue. Recently, we had lunch here with our entire family, paying approximately $60-$80 per person, and left feeling unsatisfied. The food lacked quality and quantity. While some staff members were commendable, they were unable to address our concerns. It appears that the management may be prioritizing profit over quality, resulting in a loss of the authenticity that once defined this place. It is quite disappointing, to say the least

A large group of us came to Zonzo Estate Yarra Valley to celebrate a birthday. We had caught a private minibus to the event, and were treated to a delicious set menu lunch. There was a wide spread of food including antipasti, pizza, bread, slow-cooked lamb, potato, chips, salad and more.It was a beautiful day, and we were treated to gorgeous views of the estate with blue skies and sunny weather.Unfortunately, after a few hours, we were effectively asked to leave the premise as they were preparing for wedding guests to arrive. I understand that venues may host several events in one day, however, we were not warned of this prior and some of us felt the staff could have approached this better. Once asked to leave, they also asked us to quickly skull our drinks from the glasses or transfer them into the provided paper cups. It makes me wonder if a fine estate really doesn't have enough wine glasses, or if they were trying to hasten us to leave. Personally, I found it a bit distasteful and not very accommodating.Nevertheless, we enjoyed our time overall at Zonzo, and I would consider utilising this venue for an event of my own. Thank you!
We had a table in the front area of Zonzo's. This area is of poor architecture because there is no sound proofing. Even at our own table we had to yell to hear each other. The area is really noisy.Although the food was tasty, it wasn't value for money. Pizza's are all $30+. The marinara pizza - what a joke! It comes with an anchovy on each slice, no other seafood.We ordered fries. They came to the table. We asked for tomato sauce....that came almost at the end of the fries and at a cost of $3:50 for approximately a tablespoon of sauce. Disgusting!Service was great, although one waitress did not know where to fill the wine classes to.Overall Zonzo did not meet my expectations for quality and cost.

Real Italian food and taste, real food flavor is in all the dishes we ordered, the menu is enough and price is good ordered 4 dishes with a 2 starters 1 wine glass and 2 soft drink for 125$. The only thing is the shared setup could be a it noisy but the feeling that your close to other people makes it for me a comfort thing and nice. Forgot to take pics :)
Food is very bad. Pizza was lacking topping and most importantly flavour. The lamb and potatoes dish was lacking flavour also. Felt like no seasoning was used at all. Wine was very poor for a so called 'winery'. That quality of wine smears Australia's reputation as a New World wine region and would disgust some of the brightest winemakers in Victoria. Food and wine lovers do yourself a favour and stay away. This winery feels like a tourist trap, profiting off their rigid menus and beautiful sceneries which masks the horrors underneath. The only saving grace was its aperitif, limoncello that tasted slightly more authentic. Please do not be duped by the establishment positioning itself as a winery, it suits more of a wedding venue vibe.

I recently visited Yering Station Winery while on a Hen’s winery tour. The property was beautiful and had a great variety of wines. While we were there, we did a wine tasting session.The staff member (sorry I don’t remember her name) was very knowledgeable on both the wines we were tasting, as well as the history of the winery which was great to listen to and learn about.Overall I enjoyed the whole experience. I would come back here to try the food.
We recently got married at Zonzo Estate and were completely overwhelmed with how incredible our day was. The lead up was so well organised, Emma was fantastic at keeping us up to date on what we needed to be doing and ensuring we were comfortable with everything too. On the day we were so lucky to have Sal running the show. He was absolutely incredible and went above and beyond in absolutely every aspect of the day. From constantly bringing me champagnes when I lost my glass to saving the day and knowing exactly how to button the bustle of my dress when the bridesmaids couldn’t quite work it out!The venue and location was perfect, staff were all fantastic and the food was as always incredible!
We recently got married at Zonzo and cannot emphasise enough how perfect, joyous and magical our day was. In the whole lead up Emma and the team at Zonzo were so helpful, providing a wedding preparation checklist, timely reminders and recommended suppliers. It really made the whole planning process as stress-free as possible. On the day, the atmosphere, food and whole vibe was just incredible. The staff were so attentive (thank you especially to Sal) and our guests could not stop singing their praises. We have received countless comments from guests about how it was the best wedding they have been to!
We had pizza con porcini and pizza alla salciccia and it was delicious.Do be prepared to share a communal table with another group if your group is small, however they allow enough space between the groups and you don't feel like the next group is just next to you.If the weather is good, sit outside and enjoy the beautiful sun and scenery.Bookings are absolutely a must especially on weekends as they are always booked out, and they take a small deposit for bookings.
Huge gorgeous premises with a large army of staff, providing fast service, incredible wine, Limoncello, and pizza that’s like it’s from Italy itself. Zonzo is a MUST visit when you’re in town, just make sure you book, it’s that popular! Nice place, quite busy at lunch make sure to have reservation. Indoor seating is cozy but too noisy, outdoors is much better if weather permits. Order Pizza, slow cooked lamb and buratta (is it very odd that they charge you extra for some bread). Good in general was tasty and good quality yet the slow cooked lamb lack some flavoring or spices. Their wine is just fine, nothing too special.
Great food, great surrounds, great service! Dined here with a group of 10 for lunch. It was a set menu but with enough choices to keep everyone happy. The antipasto plates were excellent - we had a pregnant lady at our table, which the servers noted, so at their own initiative they offered a platter with substitutes for cold meat. The pizzas were excellent - highly recommend the pork and Fennell sausage option!Things we loved:- proactive service- great options for kids, including the pizzas served in colour-in pizza boxes!- wonderful food for each courseThings which could have been better:- fairly loud in the main room, but what made it difficult was we were at a very large circular table. A beautiful location and easy drive from Melbourne. Was frustrating that any party size. on Saturdays and Sundays must dine under the feed me menu as there were many other pizzas and starters we would have liked to try. The pizzas were crisp and generous toppings, the dough is very nice. However everything else just felt like a wedding reception, lacking flavour and for our antipasti board and gnocchi dish, it felt as though it had been sitting there for an hour or so and they just bring it out as soon as an order comes through. It did not feel freshly made to order.

The food was tasty and the service was good.Due to the long table format, diners share tables with others.We were seated inside and close to the kitchen and register. I found it rather dim in terms of the lighting. Those who were seated near the glass windows enjoyed the natural light from the sun like those seated outdoor.I would return even just for the tiramisu which was well made and delicious.Overall we had a positive experience.

Everything was on point, from the set up, food, drinks and staff.In the lead up to the wedding, Emma the wedding coordinator was amazing. Emails were answered extremely prompt and she was always willing to assist or advise with anything we requested.On the day, Salvatore was INCREDIBLE; we cannot thank him enough for everything he did to make the day go so smoothly!! From putting in my veil, sewing/pinning my dress after a mishap and making sure everyone was fed, had a drink in hand and having a bloody good time! Sal honestly took our night to the next level; he went above and beyond in every way possible.The food was one of the first selling points for us picking Zonzo as our wedding venue and it was even better on the day. If you’re after great tasting food, with a generous serving (where no one will go home hungry) - this is exactly what you’ll get at Zonzo. Highly recommend!!
Amazing experience at Zonzo Estate!The wine selection is very nice , we tried the red wine, rose and white wine .The view and the restaurant is beautiful.The staff very friendly even if it was very busy .We had the set menu at $70 . I would just say that $65 would justify the food better. The food is pub food , is delicious but not up to high standard . I don’t like lamb but I ate it and it was very nicely cooked and the sauce delightful.Inside the restaurant is quite noisy however the view is stunning and the decoration is adequate with the vineyard style .Thanks very much Zonzo for the Lunch .
What a beautiful place for food and drink, I would recommend the Spanner Crab Ravioli, it was so light yet had beautiful flavours! Zonzo is a wonderful estate, the inside of the restaurant has a very warm vibe and makes you feel at home. The wine is always delicious, and to make matters more exciting they are building another space for wine tastings alone. I will definitely be back
This was our first visit and we were very impressed by the view and atmosphere. We felt covid safe sitting outside overlooking the grapevine and the staff were very attentive and helpful, in particular a special mention to Nicholas who served us and was more than helpful and kind. The 3 course set menu was generous and was kid friendly as well. There was a separate kids menu and an obvious drinks menu that showcased the many Zonzo selections. Plenty of parking, 3 main sitting areas that we noticed (inside, outside and the stable). Super modern and a great place for a special group outing. Would definitely come back again.

We drove 50 minutes only to find the kitchen closed at 1 PM on a Saturday (when the website says you close at 5 PM), despite seeing food coming out of kitchen at 2:10 PM. The male receptionist gave excuses about a wedding in the evening and that the restaurant was fully booked, but it’s clear we’re not welcome here and you don’t want us to dine here, despite seeing we have a toddler.You should:1. Clearly state on your website that the kitchen closes at 1 PM. Your listed hours of 10 AM to 5 PM are misleading. (See 3rd picture - I have attached an example of how you can add kitchen opening hours if you don’t know)2. Indicate that reservations are required as it doesn’t appear you allocate any seats for walk-ins or you simply don’t welcome walk-ins.3. Announce when the restaurant is closed or closed early for events like weddings.We had a hungry toddler and were turned away after such a long drive. A blessing in disguise is we found a much better restaurant nearby (Hubert).It feels like you don’t value our time, and our business. Therefore rest assured, we will not spend a single cent at your restaurant, nor will we recommend you to anyone.
This place was humiliating. I took my Aunt Doris from Toowoomba for lunch because we greatly admire the Melba-de Castella-et al history. We were ignored until I asked for a table in the empty cafe. Then we were placed at a table to be bumped by passerbys with no apologies. Strangers acting like dodgem cars at a circus. We got the message. Leave. I stood my ground, Nellie did, but not being of her class, we left when twice ignored by waiters with more important customers. Some of us won't fit in. Try a picnic beside the river or in the mountains, the roots of the Heidelberg school of painters.

Today I celebrated my anniversary with my partner and my gosh it was perfect! Emma was awesome and she made it super memorable. Only thing was the sirloin was slightly chewy but the desserts and Quail dish made up for it! Thank you guys for a lovely day and we will be back!

Had lunch there today food & service was amazing But went to cellar door 1 st just wanted to try 3 wines to see which wines we would have with lunch told was 15.00 each to taste. Most winery’s in Yarra valley do not charge to taste if you are booked for lunch we refused to pay to taste we ordered bottle of coobe sparkling with lunch was awfull & not even cold the 2 tables either side of us said the same. The table next to us sent it back. The rose was good Need to look after customers that have lunch booking we would not have ordered sparkling if we could have tasted !!!!!
Everything was brilliant and we were well taken care of as we dined in after my sister’s wedding ceremony, all the staff made sure everybody was satisfied especially Emma, she gave us fantastic service all afternoon, Thank you again for the hospitality.Food 10/10 also.

Honestly, I would dine here over and over again!! Picturesque venue that attracts guests with discerning palates. Classy ambience, gorgeous glassware and engaged service professionals. This venue is a total 10 out of 10.
Not even the cold and rain could wipe the smiles of the friendly professional staff that greeted us firstly at the cellar door for wine tasting and then the restaurant. The cellar door experience was perfect, great knowledge of the wines ,coupled with humour and generous pouring ,responsible pouring, made it a fantastic experience. On ward to the restaurant where our waitress was nothing but professional, happy and knowledgeable about the food and wine pairing. The meals were generous in size and the quality was 5 stars. Could not fault anything, the ambience was excellent, we were extremely fortunate to have a piano player and opera singer sing some of Melba's favourite pieces of opera what a absolute awesome experience. This is definitely a must visit winery-restaurant, plus we have been told the garden tour is a must do, maybe next time.

We booked a garden tour and lunch and it was fantastic!!! We were actually late for the garden tour and sheepishly came to front desk to explain - the maître d was so lovely and walked us to where the tour was so we could do the second half. Rosemary, the guide was great and the gardens are gorgeous.After the tour we went in for lunch only to realise I had booked the wrong date. The maître d again went wayyyyyy above and beyond and squeezed us in before another booking. Everyone was incredibly professional and accomodating considering all our faux pas! We were incredibly impressed and grateful. On top of that, the restaurant was beautiful, the grounds are stunning, the lunch was phenomenal and the Peach Melba was the best dessert I've ever had.
We had lunch here on valentines day and they made it so special. The food was amazing, flavourful, good portion sizes and staff were very knowledgeable about wine pairings too. The staff were attentive, courteous and really made our day. We can't wait to return.

Had a great day... took my best friend for her birthday. Had booked the garden tour, but the weather wasn't brilliant, so they changed it up a bit to a garden and house tour, which was brilliant! This was followed by a three course lunch, and everything was delicious! Highly recommend the beef rib which literally melted in the mouth, and the asparagus entree was so tasty!The peach melba dessert is also highly recommended.Coming in second place (as we shared) was the potato, pork belly and brownie... but none of them were bad meals! It was just a case of which course won the round!Highly recommend for a special occasion!
Good spot for a long relaxed lunch. We had a 3 course meal over 2 hours. The dining room is an open plan setup overlooking the pine trees. The food is good and service is friendly.

From our initial venue inspection up until the end of our wedding day the team at Riverstone Estate were truely amazing. Nicola was always keeping in touch with us during the planning process, very responsive and provided a great range of recommended vendors. On our day Amalia and Sheila made sure the whole day ran smoothly and were nothing but exceptional. They helped my nerves with not having to stress about anything!Our guests raved about the food - and the amount of food their was and how stunning the venue is! They commented on how we had thought about everything for the day - but I have to give credit to the Riverstone team for that. They think of everything and also provide table centrepieces, welcome sign easel, food/drink signs, wishing well if you don’t have any. The views are absolutely breathtaking and we were lucky enough to have our ceremony outside which made for beautiful photos. Highly recommend The Riverstone Estate and so glad we had our wedding here.

The chicken roulade was nice and the pumpkin tart was alright.The chicken roulade is the only dish of the three I would eat again and at $38 I don't expect to.Of the wine we tried, I would recommend the pinot nior.The Chardonnay and Sav Blanc had decent flavours but a very thin mouth feel. Cab Sav was nice.We were not offered or given water until 45min when we asked. A small thing but below par for the area where it's usually the first thing you're asked when seated.Staff were nice but could have used another hand.Great view.

This is the worst restaurant I have ever been to, my partner is vegetarian, we advised them earlier in the week, and were told they would do a vegetarian lasagna for her q but when the meal came it was just rice with four small tomatoes. The Little Vineyard was the perfect place for our wedding! Such a great space, wonderful food and drinks and the staff were amazing throughout our wedding day. They helped us feel relaxed and made sure everyone was catered for. Very good value for money and lots of inclusions, as well as free rein to let us set up how we liked. Our guests loved the photo booth and we loved seeing all the photos from the night. Good communication throughout the whole planning process. Highly recommend for any event. Big thanks from us both!!
We got married at TLV in Nov 2022. We fell in love with the venue when we visited, for the beautiful ceremony set up and warm and welcoming reception area. We liked that the venue is fit for purpose for weddings, and is convenient to go straight from ceremony to reception and lots of easy locations onsite for good photos without really having to walk anywhere. The photos turned out perfectly and we were so happy we chose TLV for this reason. We also loved the food and drink selection, and the tasting was the most helpful thing we did to prepare because we also had a meeting and organised our run sheet. We found that the venue were very flexible to cater for whatever we wanted to do on the day, and they catered very well for guest dietaries which we really appreciated.The down side was we found the communication not great, there isn’t a dedicated event planner and different staff answered our emails. Sometimes we needed to email a second time to get a response. On the day there were a couple of small hiccups - we had arranged with the venue that they would open earlier for the florist and cake drop off, but no one was at the venue at the agreed time. Unfortunately we were only given one mobile contact of the owner/chef and about 9 phone calls went unanswered. This was a bit stressful on the day as I had to organise someone else to deliver the cake later. The florist jumped the fence to start setting up thank goodness. The dried petals for our ceremony exit were forgotten on the day. A couple of other minor things were forgotten but the day ran smoothly overall with no big dramas. We fed these things back to the venue and they refunded the petals. We gave feedback that a final meeting would have avoided these issues and they took this on, although we never had contact with the main owner, just a staff member replying on his behalf.Overall we had a spectacular day and were very happy to be married at The Little Vineyard, and we have beautiful photos and memories. A dedicated event coordinator, or even just a final meeting the week or two before the wedding, would make this venue even better. That said, it is a bit cheaper than other Yarra Valley winery wedding venues. Thank you TLV for hosting our wedding!

Our stay was incredible! The room was classy and beautifully designed, with the fireplace being a real highlight. We were especially grateful for the thoughtful upgrade, which made our first time away from the kids in 6 years even more special. Thank you for making this such a memorable experience!I've seen some reviews mentioning small portion sizes, but I want to debunk that. We found the portions to be just right, especially after the 5-course meal. Every dish was beautifully presented and perfectly satisfying. We definitely did not leave hungry and would highly recommend this restaurant!

Reception was super helpful and made sure they let us know before we travelled the restaurant was fully booked and too pack our swimmers for the pool.Beautiful grounds to walk around in the morning and evening. We attended a wedding on the Australia Day weekend and were blown away by the hospitality, professionalism and surrounds of this beautiful location. When we realised there was a slight misunderstanding with the room we had booked, Lizzie handled the matter so kindly and efficiently to provide us with a more suitable room for our stay. We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Lancemore Lindenderry in Red Hill, and we were blown away it was really a 10/10 experience. I have always loved visiting Red Hill, but have never stayed there, so this was a special treat. The room itself was perfect and very luxurious, the staff were fantastic and made us feel very special, the amenities and gardens were stunning, and the food was incredible (i.e., living in Melbourne we do have the pleasure of dining at some great restaurants, but honestly the food was sensational).Will definitely be back again, it's not too far from Melbourne and you feel like you've arrived somewhere special the instant you roll down the driveway.

My partner and I recently stayed a night at Lindenderry and I can honestly say there wasn't a thing I'd change. It was 10/10.I had actually surprised him with a night away, and when we checked in without me even asking for it we were given a free room upgrade which just added to the special surprise. The staff were all beautifully friendly, and took care in what they did. The grounds of the property were stunning to walk around and the indoor areas provided great places to spend our time. We had some drinks, played some pool by the fire and listened to Jazz music! The cherry on top was how comfortable the bed was, I had one of the best sleeps I've ever had in a hotel :). Highly recommend.

I recently visited for a weekend lunch and opted for the two-course set menu. The wine was fantastic but unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to expectations, especially given the high price. Entree was great but mains were disappointing. The duck had an odd smell and the steak was overcooked (asked for medium rare).
Great place. Went with a family. Good service, great food and scenary. Only thing that stopped this being a 5 star experience is we got over charged by 600$. We later called up and got refunded the money.
Highly recommend treating yourself to a wine tasting at the cellar door.This was our second time returning for the wine tasting, and we eagerly came back to see Perry. His passion for the winemaking is infectious, and his deep knowledge of each wine truly enriched our tasting experience. He expertly guided us through their remarkable selection, highlighting the unique characteristics of each varietal.Perry’s engaging storytelling and enthusiasm made our visit even more special, and it's clear that he is a true ambassador and asset to Yering Station.
Rude front of house lady. We initially wanted to have lunch outside by the restaurant terrace and this staff just straight up said we don’t allow dogs when it says it’s a dog friendly place… later realized they only allow dogs in the cellar garden area. Maybe be clear about it for future customers and train your staff to be more polite.
The winery is really pretty. The craft museum and the garden can easily entertained a toddler. Did the wine tasting at the cellar door. It is educational. The wine is bit dry compared to other Australia winery, which make sense as they use French methods. Join the membership straight away, love it!
Service excellent. Seasonal menu absolutely delicious. Wine sublime. Perfect spot for lunch. Wander the exquisite grounds after lunch and enjoy a well spent day out in the Yarra Valley.
Today i had lunch at Yering Station. Staff were very friendly and i received warm service. Food tasted good but for the main market fish | scampi , there was no scampi at all. Also i didn't notice the dessert menu chocolate mousse changed to honey mousse, it tasted a little oversweet. So i give 4 stars for this review.Overall, nice experience at Yering Station, your service is worth 5-star!
Food is AMAZING however very bad service… in the first 10 minutes we had great service but then it like they forgot to serve us (ex with the wine bottles we refilled on our own and had to walk to the counter where our bottles were kept in an ice bucket), also extremely long wait for food to get out. We waited about 1h30 for 3 entrées and then another 1h30 for mains.The food is the delicious. The wines we had were okay, nothing more.

The ambience, service, the exciting varied menu, the food so fresh, well presented and the wine list. A big shout out to Perry, a young man who served us. I recently visited Yering Vineyard and was delighted by their magnificent wine tasting experience.Among their sparkling wines, I particularly loved the sparkling rosé, which was simply amazing. The Shiraz Viognier was also very good, and the Pinot Noir Reserve was superb.The service was truly professional and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable.I thoroughly enjoyed tasting all these wines and also learned a lot about different grape varieties and winemaking techniques.If you're a wine enthusiast looking for an authentic experience, I highly recommend visiting Yering Vineyard.
Exceptional wine tasting at Yering Station Cellar Door! 🍷 Kudos to Ryan, the manager, for his expertise and hospitality. As a qualified winemaker from NZ, I vouch for the incredible taste of their wines. The 2021 Reserve Shiraz Viognier stole the show— very smooth tannins, ready for drinking now and ripe red fruits on the nose. Highly recommended!

They have a beautiful bridal house where the bride and bridesmaids got ready and a men’s den where the boys spent the day. Tanglewood has so many options and areas for beautiful photos and the wedding ceremony! We have just received our photos and are so happy with the amount of photos we received in different locations around the incredible Tanglewood Estate!There are no words to describe how amazing the staff at Tanglewood are! Donna was so easy to communicate with and her staff ensured we had the most magical day. They supported us to set up and provided incredible advice on the best way to design each area. The venue has their own wine and local beers and ciders. The wine was to die for with so many guests wanting to purchase it after the wedding!We chose to get married outside by the lake but love that we also had photos in the cute little chapel. We had so many guests comment on how incredibly beautiful Tanglewood was and there were a number of guests hoping they can also get married there!We are so glad we chose to get married at Tanglewood. Absolutely breathtaking!!! We eloped at Tanglewood Estate and it was the most perfect setting. We used the chapel for our ceremony and took photos around the estate including the heart shaped lake. Donna was easy to communicate with and very accommodating for our very small event. Truely worth the trip down the dirt road!

We LOVE Tanglewood. The whole place is truly a photographer's dream. It’s the perfect picturesque hideaway set on over 50 acres of beautiful gardens and vineyard. You can choose to have your ceremony in the lovingly restored 110 year old chapel, or out in one of the many stunning spots on the grounds. There’s a studio for pre/post ceremony drinks, a barn for your reception or the option of setting up a marquee or teepee on the grounds. The options are endless and all have the loveliest feel, so whether you’re hosting an intimate lunchtime affair or a wild into-the-night party, we promise you won’t be disappointed! We wish we knew about Tanglewood when we got married, if we were to do it all again it would only ever be at Tanglewood!

Ladies, if you're thinking about having your wedding at Tanglewood Estate but you're unsure, I say absolutely go for it! Just attended the wedding of the decade here and all I can say is wow! The property itself is on secluded land with a charming little chapel where the ceremony was held and the reception is in a equally amazing converted barn, that has incredible views of the bay. The staff were all super professional and attentive to all guests and certainly helped make the night memorable. I would love to return to the Estate in the near future.

The images we found online were stunning, and we just had to see this venue for ourselves! We love Dromana, and often visit for a weekend trip so we were already feeling pretty positive!We got in contact with Donna and were down at Tanglewood viewing the amazing grounds. Wow! - my now wife and I looked at each other and said 'This is it - the one' and we booked in our date. We couldn't believe how lucky we were! We found Donna, Caitlin and Nick to be absolute superstars, nothing was too difficult for them, they assisted us in every way on the lead up to the big day, before the ceremony and afterwards with taking our guests via buggy up to the reception and made the night flow effortlessly.These guys really know how to put on a wedding and we cannot thank the entire team enough! Yesterday, after a lack lustre ski trip to Falls Creek. we stopped into the Brown Brothers Winery at Milawa in Victoria.I have been there twice before,but this time I was showing my partner around the winery.After, a quick stop to the restaurant, we headed to the wine tasting building to sample a range of their award winning wines.Our Wine host, Jacob, was so knowledgeable, calm and customer orientated, he relaxed us completely, so we could make informed decisions on our wine bottle purchases.Brown Brothers Winery is a great reason to stop in Milawa and so is the Milawa Cheese shop, a couple of kilometers away.

My daughter and son-in-law were married at Brown brothers in Aril 2024. We would just like to highly recommend them to any couples out there looking for a wedding and reception venue. From the time of booking through to the day after they were superb! The food was excellent and the staff were wonderful. We had an absolutely gorgeous day and the barn looked amazing. We had a personalised tasting at this lovely cellar door. It is a beautiful setting just a short walk from where we were staying. With such a wide variety of wines on offer we were grateful for advice on what to choose. Favourites were a King Valley Gamay and the Patricia Chardonnay.
A beautiful setting. But sadly the wine rating was like being in a factory. Not at all personal. Very commercial. Totally at odds with other venues in the area. Big is not always better. Wouldn’t bother next time

I love an experience where you try one dish and it’s delicious. Then try another and it’s also amazing. And the third is also delicious and you then you can’t pick your favourite. This was the great start to the menu at Brown Brothers. The venue has well spaced tables and floor to ceiling glass windows which allow you to sip and eat while surrounded by the green trees. This was perfectly matched by the service by Jason and Alex. I was surprised when given the set menu that it wasn’t chose one dish from each section - you get all the dishes! And all for $80. Incredible value. Each dish is locally sourced perfectly paired with a Brown Brothers wine. It’s become my favorite regional Victorian restaurant.
We had lunch at Brown Brothers Winery last Thursday and it was amazing. The $80 set menu was sensational with more than enough food. Each dish (from the delicious bread to the last course beef) was creative, tasty and full of flavour. Both wait staff were outstanding and really added to the wonderful experience. We took our friends from Sydney to Rochfoard yesterday and we loved the venue and staff. Cheese charcuterie board was the star of our lovely afternoon. Following by mouthwatering slow cooked lamb shoulder.We defo recommend visiting this venue on the Valley area.
Truely amazing lunch with my wife for her birthday.Every piece of food was delicious, hell I even ate the cauliflower. Both the pork belly (entre) and Beef Rib were so unctuous and perfectly cooked.$65 pp for 2 courses of this quality is pretty hard to beat today.Wife had the other slow cooked beef and the tart, also yummy.We had gin (for her) and Whiskey tasting beforehand, nice but made Our heads spin, luckily by time finished lunch I could drive.Waiters were polite and not in your face and we were sat near the fireplace.We will definitely be back.

**Disappointing Experience and Poor Service**I recently visited Il Vigneto Pizzeria and had a rather disappointing experience. Despite being told that our food would take 15 minutes, we ended up waiting 40 minutes for it to arrive. When the food finally did come, it was clear that it had been rushed.Adding to the frustration, we had to ask for our order to be taken instead of being promptly attended to. Additionally, there was no offer of wine tasting, which we were looking forward to. The manager, instead of addressing our concerns constructively, blamed the kitchen and other staff for the delays and poor service it was never his fault and he was rude.Overall, the service at Rochford was far from satisfactory. I hope they can improve their operations and customer service in the future.
We went here to see a band that was held in their restaurant, drinks were ridiculously priced and when we questioned it they said they thought $13 for a vodka soda was reasonable. I’m not sure where you usually drink but $13 for a cheap vodka and soda water pored out of a 79c Cole’s brand bottle is not “reasonable”Service was terrible and we won’t be returning.
The wines are exceptional, you'll find something for everyone's palate to drink now or cellar for later. The hospitality and value is impeccable both for tastings or a meal at Isabella's. Make sure to see Jade for your tasting, she is so knowledgeable, takes the time to understand your tastes and great fun. We'll be back!

We had our wedding reception at Rochford last May 2023. Faye, Natalie and the whole team made sure that we are well looked after from the very beginning. They have provided lots of options and suggestions during planning to make sure our day runs smoothly. Food was great, staff were attentive, spacious dancefloor, we were very happy with how it all turned out and definitely made the right choice to celebrate our most special day here.
Had a lovely lunch for a birthday. The view was lovely, the restaurant is full of light from all the windows. Truly a beautiful place to dine. Staff were friendly but at times a bit slow. It costs $75 for a three course meal which seems reasonable for the quality and presentation of the dishes. The pork belly entree was nice but I really wish it had some pork crackle on it. Lamb shoulder was definitely the highlight, melting in your mouth and falling off the bone. The apple mousse dessert was the lowlight of the meal. By itself the cake was too burnt on top, but once put together with the mousse it was nice but I wouldn’t rush back for it. Still a lovely place for a winery lunch!
Was here for lunch on a promotion $60 for 3 courses great value. Good attentive service. Food was presented beautifully in a timely manner. Entrees delicious however the mains were disappointing. 16 hour slow cooked Oyster Blade should not be on the menu. Such a cheap cut of meat to use at a winery, was extremely dry. It could have done with a gravy.or some type of sauce to accompany it. Perhaps at a winery like this they could offer a better choice of meat. Snapper was also very dry. Deserts were good. Over all a pleasant day at Rockford but they need to improve the quality of food. Ample parking, huge area outside too.

At breakfast, through to dinner in the evening, the view from the restaurant looking down the Yarra Valley is picture perfect. But with so many wines to choose from where does one start!
We stayed in a superior one bedroom, pic view from balcony. These rooms have been well renovated. Separate bedroom with spacioys comfortable lounge area. Bathroom was all new and very clean. We also dined there and found the 3 course menu exceptional with choices to suit most palates. There is an outside decked area to enjoy a drink from their bar also. There is a heated indoor pool and Endota Spa on site. All the staff we came across were pleasant and eager to help. Great place to base yourself on a visit to the Yarra Valley or just stay there and don't leave!
A good trip to Balgownie winery for a romantic stay. Plenty of wine variety, but nothing to write home about. Spa experience was a bit of a miss, unfortunately. Definitely pricey for a room but food and drinks were reasonable. Not much else to do on the estate. Staff were always friendly and helpful.

Great hotel and winery. We stayed for a wedding in a standard suite which was a great size. Bathroom is wierd though, with a floor to cieling shower window that opens into the living area! Bed was comfy, and mini bar well stocked and reasonably priced. Easy to get in and out of. Tried the wine tasting at the bar lovelove the wines esp the sparkling Shiraz. The restaurant was always busy and the bar itself made nice cocktails. Would stay again.

We stayed in the One Bedroom Spa Suite the night of our wedding and had a very enjoyable experience. The room was lovely and spacious and the buffet breakfast was excellent the following morning.There was some miscommunication about our check-in time which was very stressful to have to deal with on our wedding day. And the shower head in our room was faulty and only sprayed water straight across, it couldn't be angled down.A very nice hotel, especially for our wedding night, but a few things let our experience down, just a bit.
I celebrated my 60th birthday with family at Balgownie Estate for dinner. We all chose different menu items, which was beautifully presented and was sensational. The menu items could be matched with Balgownie wines for those who participated and the staff who assisted us were professional and couldn’t have done more for me, in helping to make this special evening, memorable. I would definitely recommend Balgownie Estate to others.Our two grandchildren were well catered for and were welcomed.We did try to book accommodation but it was fully booked but we would like to visit again.

Everything about the stay was perfect. The people working there were very helpful. The room was spacious had a great view. All in all an excellent stay.
Exceptional service, especially the lady hosting wine tasting. Stayed in the newly renovated rooms, it was OK. The taps drove me nuts especially the shower, and you can hear people talking outside downstairs even with everything closed. Rooms were generally clean but could do with a broom to the cobwebs outside.Dining at 1309 was superb, from service to food for both dinner and breakfast.Would I return? Maybe. There's not many higher end accommodation at Yarra unfortunately and the overall Yarra standards are lower than Melbourne city. Between here and Chateau Yering I would still pick here.All in all we had a pleasant stay, thank you.

Service was first class and so friendly. Food was excellent; the steak I had was at the very top of its class. Location is picturesque. Views from both our room and the restaurant were amazing.
Stayed in the newly renovated suites for 2 nights. Scenery is amazing, room was fantastic, bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Restaurant was amazing as are their wines and the cellar door experience. This is not a cheap place by any means but we certainly felt we got what we paid for.
