OUR STORY WITH THE COUPLE:
Earlier this year, we had the opportunity to meet with the groom, who shared an incredibly thoughtful and romantic idea for his upcoming wedding. He expressed his desire to surprise his bride with the wedding reception venue, keeping it a secret until just one week before the celebration. Intrigued by this clever concept, we, with our extensive experience in capturing Melbourne city weddings, seamlessly aligned with the groom’s vision for the special day.
In our discussion, the groom’s vision resonated with us, and with a shared understanding of the style he envisioned, we quickly found ourselves on the same page. Sometimes, without the need for many words, a mutual understanding can be established, especially when it comes to the nuances of capturing the essence of a unique and surprise-filled wedding in the heart of Melbourne. We look forward to turning this captivating vision into a beautifully documented reality, preserving the magic and surprise of this special occasion for the bride and groom.
The wedding getting ready: Our Melbourne city wedding photographer commenced the groom’s getting ready photos in a hotel room within the city. We skillfully captured the couple’s morning preparations at their home, surrounded by close friends and family, before they made their way to Fitzroy Gardens for the ceremony. Often, these precious moments begin with a celebratory touch, marked by the clinking of champagne glasses.
The wedding ceremony:
The ceremony took place in Fitzroy Gardens. Our wedding photographer arrived a little earlier, offering the couple some professional suggestions on where they could stand to optimize the lighting during the ceremony. The exchange of rings and the couple’s first kiss unfolded in front of their families and friends, with laughter and tears beautifully captured by our photographer.
As the ceremony concluded, the couple opened a limited edition of champagne to celebrate. The bride and groom later shared that they found it quite tasty, adding a delightful touch to the joyous occasion.
The wedding photo location: After the ceremony, the couple embarked on a unique bridal party adventure in the city. Against the backdrop of the Parliament House and W Hotel, as well as an iconic staircase in Richmond, the couple looked absolutely stunning. The moments captured included delightful and amusing interactions between the couple and their friends, making for interesting and precious memories.
On their way back to the venue, the couple seized the opportunity for various modern photos in front of iconic locations like Chanel. Our Melbourne city wedding photographer thoroughly enjoyed the experience of working with the couple, ensuring the collection of joyful and memorable images.
