Vogue Ballroom as a Melbourne wedding venue
Located in the South Eastern suburb of Melbourne, the Vogue Ballroom is a fantastic lavish wedding venue that offers large sitting capacity at affordable pricing.
As a Melbourne wedding photographer, I love capturing weddings at the Vogue Ballroom as it actually has a lot of wonderful photo opportunities inside the venue. From the fountain in front of the wedding venue which is perfect for bride and groom photo together with their limo. Walking inside, the large crystal chandeliers together with the staircase are perfect for some dramatic shots. And lastly, we love bringing the couple inside the venue for some photos as well.
OUR STORY WITH THE COUPLE:
We met with the lovely couple earlier this year when they started to look for a reliable and affordable Ballarat wedding photographer. Without too many words, we quickly discovered what the couples were after for their wedding photography and stood on the same page.
The morning getting ready: we started our day by capturing the morning getting ready of both the bride and our groom. Together with their fun bridal party, we captured the entire process of our bride Cathy putting on her wedding gown as well as our groom Vincent dressed in the traditional cultural costume.
The wedding ceremony: with a Chinese and Vietnamese cultural background, a traditional tea ceremony was held before our bride and groom head to the church. The tea ceremony involves the groom bringing the gifts to the bride’s house with his groomsmen as well as the bride and groom serving tea for there elder relatives.
The wedding photo location: the Carlton Garden is one of the most popular wedding photo locations in Melbourne CBD for couples who celebrate their weddings at the Vogue Ballroom. Offering tree lines, fountains as well as historic architecture at one place, our Melbourne wedding photographer can get a mix vibe of photos without too many travelling.
