The Clarendon Hotel & Sky bar as a Melbourne Wedding Venue
Located near the famous South Melbourne Market, the heart of Melbourne, The Clarendon Hotel & Sky bar is one of the most unique wedding venues in this region. Sky bar is The Clarendon Hotel’s spectacular rooftop function space for couples have a wonderful time at their wedding reception whilst taking in breathtaking views of the Melbourne CBD skyline. With exotic Balinese style setup, the venue is suitable for modern and classic weddings.
As a Melbourne wedding photographer who has captured a few times in The Clarendon Hotel & Sky bar, what I love about this unique wedding venue is the endless wedding photography opportunities around the venue. Couples can head to the Royal botanic Garden, Victoria Barracks and the town hall nearby for some classic bridal party photography while the guests mingling and enjoy cocktail and canapes at the reception.
OUR STORY WITH THE COUPLE:
We met with the loving couple last year and it was pleasant to know that the couple were fell in love with our style of wedding photography at the very beginning. With many years of experience on capturing Melbourne city weddings, without too much words, we quickly managed to stand on the same page of the style we after.
The wedding ceremony: the ceremony was held on the lush green lawn in the Royal Botanic Garden. Near the lovely lotus pool, with the witness of all the family and friends, the couple exchange their rings and made their first kiss. Our photographer captured all precious moments of this happy time.
The wedding photo location: after the ceremony, the couple did a short walk in the Royal Botanic Garden and our Melbourne wedding photographer took the chance to get some natural style wedding photography. On the way to the reception in South Melbourne, we captured some romantic moments with the backdrop of ivy wall in front of the Victoria Barracks. The last stop before the couple head to the reception is South Melbourne town hall where was a nice place for this loving couple to take some modern and classic photos.
