Located in the picturesque Coldstream, the Rochford Wines Yarra Valley represents one of the finest choices for winery weddings. during the week day, the cellar door opens to the public for public dining and during the weekend, the Rochford then turns into a beautiful wedding venue that overlooks the Yarra Valley mountains as well as the vivid vineyards.
As a Yarra Valley wedding photographer who has been there twice for capturing weddings this years, I love shooting weddings at the Rochford wines and the reason are quite simple, the Rochford provides a beautiful backdrop for natural and candid wedding photography, there are also many locations onsite for you to get a mix of different backdrops. The red brick wall building is usually the first location to start with after the wedding ceremony, it is perfect for some fun and natural bridal party photos, then I would bring the couples to the barrel room where the Rochford ferment their wines. The Barrel room is perfect for some low-key flashlight wedding photography. during the sunset hours, the vineyard and lawns are the perfect places to go do stunning Yarra Valley wedding photography.
OUR STORY WITH THE COUPLE:
We met with the lovely couple earlier this year and it was great knowing the couple fell in love with our style of wedding photography at the very beginning. With many years of experience from capturing Yarra Valley wedding photography, without too much words, we quickly managed to stand on the same page of the style we after.
The wedding getting ready: the couple spent their getting ready session at their own place in Scoresby, with a green thumb, the couple decorated their home with lots of lush green indoor plant which provide a natural backdrop for their getting ready wedding photography. before the couple jumped into their dress for their wedding day, we firstly get them to have some drink so we can ease the nerves and get some fun and laughter.
The wedding ceremony: the couple said their vows to each other on the lawn facing towards the Yarra Valley mountains at the Rochford wines. During the wedding ceremony, our Yarra Valley wedding photographer captured lots of emotional and authentic moments from the couple as well as their guests. With the guest cheering, the couple finally made their first kiss after exchanging their wedding band.
The wedding photo location: the sunset time at the stunning Yarra Valley is probably one of the best times to capture romantic and emotional wedding photos on the wedding day. during the golden hour, we bring our bride and groom out to the vineyard for some romantic vineyard wedding photos, during the sunset session, we captured lots of stunning photos of the loving couples.
