Oppen as a Melbourne Wedding Venue
Located on the iconic cultural Chapel Street, the Oppen is a Scandinavian-inspired eatery offering amazing food and service.
As a Melbourne wedding photographer, what I love about the Oppen is its excellent location: next to the Chapel Street, on the day, not only the bride and groom will be benefited from easy travelling on their wedding day, the cultural laneways nearby the wedding venue also provide an interesting background for Melbourne wedding photography.
OUR STORY WITH THE COUPLE:
We met with the lovely couple earlier this year and it was great knowing the couple fell in love with our style of wedding photography at the very beginning. With many years of experience from capturing cultural weddings, without too much words, we quickly managed to stand on the same page of the style we after.
The Wedding getting ready: our Melbourne city wedding photographer started their day by capturing the getting ready wedding photography of our bride and groom at their place. The white wall together with the floor ceiling window provided excellent backdrop and lighting for the portrait shot of our couple.
The wedding ceremony: the couple’s wedding ceremony was held at the beautifully architected St James the Apostle Catholic Church. Located in the Hoppers Crossings, this church shares a lot of memories and emotions for the couple and their families. During the wedding ceremony, our Melbourne wedding photographer captured lots of emotional moments.
The wedding photo location: after the couple was officially married as husband and wife, our Melbourne wedding photographer then took them and their fun bridal party for some stunning location photos inside the Melbourne CBD. Due to the wet weather on the day, Parliament House then became the top choice for doing wedding photography due to its shelter. We had lots of fun by capturing some natural and candid wedding photography before heading back to their wedding venue.
