Narmbool as a rustic Wedding Venue
Narmbool is one of my favourite wedding venue which is only 30 minutes from Ballarat.
Managed and overseen by Sovereign Hill, Narmbool serves as a prime example of sustainable farming practices within a diverse and delicate ecosystem. Renowned for its high-quality merino wool, Narmbool goes beyond its agricultural pursuits by safeguarding bushland and Williamsons Creek, preserving them as crucial habitats for native wildlife and flora. Additionally, Narmbool offers a distinctive and picturesque setting for weddings and functions, adding an extra layer of charm to its multifaceted role in conservation and celebration.
OUR STORY WITH THE COUPLE:
We first connected with this delightful couple nearly two years ago through mutual friends, having previously had the honor of photographing their friends’ wedding. It was truly heartening to discover that this couple had developed a fondness for our distinctive style of wedding photography from the outset. Given our extensive experience in capturing weddings in the vibrant backdrop of Melbourne city, we found ourselves seamlessly aligning with the couple’s vision for their special day. In our initial meetings, a shared understanding of the desired photography style quickly emerged, requiring little verbal exchange to confirm that we were on the same page. The connection formed effortlessly, reflecting the harmony between our expertise and their preferences.
The wedding getting ready:
Our candid wedding photographer commenced the day by documenting the couple’s getting-ready routine at their home, surrounded by close friends and family. Among the memorable moments was a light-hearted incident where the best man playfully decided to humorously impersonate Kyle’s bride.
Dressed in a stunning white wedding gown, the best man sneaked up behind Kyle and tapped him on the shoulder. Witnessing his best man in the unexpected attire, Kyle’s reaction was priceless—tears welled up in his eyes, capturing a heartfelt and humorous memory that added a unique touch to the pre-wedding festivities.
The wedding ceremony:
The ceremony unfolded in the picturesque Narmbool garden, an idyllic natural setting. Against this backdrop, the couple exchanged their rings, sealing their commitment with a heartfelt first kiss witnessed by their families and friends. Our photographer skillfully captured the beautiful blend of laughter and tears, preserving these genuine emotions as enduring mementos of a truly special moment in time.
The wedding photo location: Following the ceremony, the couple and their bridal party took advantage of the convenient on-site locations at Narmbool for their wedding photos.
The lush green surroundings served as an exquisite backdrop, perfectly complementing the chosen wedding theme. Against this vibrant setting, the couple and their entourage were able to ease any pre-wedding ceremony nerves, allowing for the capture of numerous natural and candid moments that reflected the genuine joy and connection of the occasion.
