Danielle and Corey were married on the 27th of March 2021, their wedding ceremony and wedding venue was at the Mimosa Glen.
WEDDING VENUE:
Situated at the gateway to the Heathcote wine region, the Mimosa Glen is one of my favourite rustic wedding venues to capture weddings at.
Walk into this historic wedding venue in Heathcote, you will find acres of manicured land, the restored 1880’s homestead as well as the little cottage, the rustic and natural vibe within this place will soon have you immersed in the feeling of a true country getaway.
Being a homestead all-in-one style wedding venue, the Mimosa Glen offers couples with various options to customize their wedding days. For the morning getting ready, you could choose to stay at:
- The historic homestead
- The country cottage
For the wedding ceremony, you could say ‘I do’ at,
- Wedding rock overlooking the McIvor creek
- Within the estate garden
The night reception will be held under the Woolshed with huge sliding glass door, it also features plenty of window allowing you to enjoy the stunning view of the McIvor creek as well as bushland.

OUR STORY WITH THE COUPLE:
We met the lovely couple last year and it was great knowing the couple fell in love with our style of wedding photography at the very beginning. Without too many words, we quickly managed to stand on the same page of the style we after.
The wedding ceremony: The wedding ceremony was just stunning at the Mimosa Glen, standing on the famous rock, while witnessed by their closed ones, Corey and Danielle said ‘I do’ to each other. Our Melbourne wedding photographer captured lots of stunning photos largely thanks to the stunning backdrop of the bushland as well as the creek.
The wedding photo location: there are endless wedding photography opportunities could be found within the Mimosa Glen, we started with some candid bridal party wedding photography in front of the cottage house. Then moving along to the rolling hill with scattered rocks, we did lots of natural wedding photography for the sweet couple.
