We had a fun pre-wedding photography session with our lovely couple Suhkdeep and Ujenia last weekend. Opted for natural greenery as well as ocean backdrop, we went to do stunning pre-wedding photos at both the Carlton Gardens as well as the Princes Pier in Port Melbourne.
See the sneak-peak photos below for highlights from the pre-wedding photography that I captured for Suhkdeep and Ujenia.
OUR STORY WITH THE COUPLE:
As their wedding day starts to count down, the couple had a idea to capture their moments before they finally become husband and wife. In fact, as a Melbourne wedding photographer, I always believe that Pre-wedding photography session is also a good opportunity for couples to know me better and get comfortable in front of the camera.
During the consultation, the couple told me that they would love to have some greeneries as well as ocean in their pre-wedding photography and they would like to also to have photos done around the Melbourne city so they don’t have to travel too far. I then recommended the couple to have a look at our most popular Melbourne wedding photo location guide for ideas, and without too many hesitations, they decided to take photos at the Carlton Gardens as well as the Princes Pier in Port Melbourne.
The Carlton Gardens:
- Address: 9 Nicholson St, Carlton VIC 3053
Highlights of the Carlton gardens: manicured lawn with tree lines on both sides, there is also a fountain in front of the Royal Exhibition Building. On the other side of the Carlton Gardens, you can find the Melbourne Museum which offers a modern architecture backdrop.
The Princes Pier:
– Pier St, Port Melbourne VIC 3207
Highlights of the Princes Pier: beautiful pier that offers a picturesque backdrop of the entire Port Phillip Bay as well as the symmetrical docks. The best wedding photo location to do sunset wedding photos. Closely located to major city wedding venues such as the Luminare as well as the Park Melbourne.
