OUR STORY WITH THE COUPLE
I had the pleasure of meeting Chris and Steph earlier this year, and it was truly delightful to engage in preliminary discussions with them about their upcoming special day.
The getting ready: The preparations commenced at the couple’s residence. As part of their traditional Macedonian wedding customs, the process of shaving the groom’s beard held significant importance. The groom was surrounded by his family during this ceremonial act. Meanwhile, as the bride completed her own preparations, she performed a symbolic gesture of kicking over a glass or bowl filled with water. This act signifies the wish for a marriage that flows as smoothly as water, representing a life of harmony and ease.
The wedding ceremony: The setting for the ceremony was the beautiful traditional Macedonian church, where the air was infused with a sense of reverence and deep emotion. As the procession unfolded, it was evident that every step was filled with profound love and a solemn atmosphere. The couple, surrounded by their families and close friends, walked down the aisle in a display of unity and commitment that was palpable to everyone present. The sacredness of the moment was reflected in the hushed tones and exchanged glances, as the timeless traditions and the couple’s modern love story converged in this deeply meaningful ceremony.
The wedding video location: Exploring the city’s vibrant streets, the couple joyfully embraced moments captured on film, their vintage wedding car becoming a charming part of their story. Later, atop the Luminare rooftop, against the backdrop of an awe-inspiring sunset and the sprawling cityscape, the couple shared intimately romantic moments, creating memories that blended their love with the beauty of the world around them.
