WEDDING VENUE:
Situated along the picturesque Great Ocean road, the Lorne Hotel offers floor to ceiling windows looking out over the ocean and foreshore of Lorne. What’s amazing of this Lorne wedding is its bay-viewing balcony that provides a place for guests mingling and canapes.
Apart from the stunning setting of this Lorne wedding venue, what couples also love about the Lorne Hotel is its bridal suite on the ground floor.
As a Geelong wedding photographer, I love capturing wedding photography at the Lorne Hotel. Not only the venue offers picturesque backdrop of the Lorne beach, the Lorne Hotel is also located closely to several famous Lorne photo location including the Swing Bridge as well as the Cypress Avenue.
OUR STORY WITH THE COUPLE:
We met with the lovely couple earlier this year and it was great knowing the couple fell in love with our style of wedding photography at the very beginning. Without too much words, we quickly managed to stand on the same page of the style we after.
The morning getting ready: opted for a relaxing day, the couple started their day with getting ready together with fun bridal party as well as the parents. During the getting ready, our Lorne wedding photographer captured lots of laughter as well as interaction between the bridal squad.
The Wedding ceremony: the couple said ‘I do’ on the lawn by the beach, the Lorne beach provides an excellent backdrop for the couple’s ceremony wedding photography. Our Lorne wedding photographer captured the couple’s sweet vows, ring exchange as well as their first kiss as married husband and wife.
The wedding photo location: with a love for natural and candid wedding photography, after the wedding ceremony, our Lorne wedding photographer started doing wedding photos with couples at the Swig Bridge. The historic old bridge provided a stunning backdrop for candid wedding photography. Then we headed to the Teddy’s lookout to captured the beautiful sunset of the Lorne Bay.
