Harbour Room as a Melbourne wedding venue
Located along the beautiful St Kilda beach, you will find the Harbour Room nestled inside the Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron. Being a beach side wedding venue, one of the reasons that Harbour Room is so popular is its prime location: set next to the St Kilda Beach, it is also located closely to famous wedding photo locations such as the St Kilda Botanical Gardens as well as the Half Moon Bay.
Being a Melbourne wedding photographer, I love capturing wedding at the Harbour Room. The ceremony is set on the top of the building and overlooking the entire Port Phillip Bay, which boasts a natural and elegant vibe to the couple’s wedding.
Lastly, for weddings at the Harbour Room, I love to take my couples to the St Kilda Botanical Gardens for some garden wedding photos before heading back.
OUR STORY WITH THE COUPLE:
We met with the lovely couple earlier this year when they started to look for a reliable and affordable Ballarat wedding photographer. Without too many words, we quickly discovered what the couples were after for their wedding photography and stood on the same page.
The morning getting ready: the couple started their morning with getting ready at the hotel in Melbourne city, accompanied by their bridal party, our Melbourne wedding photographer captured lots of genuine interactions as well as laughter during the process. We also captured the process of the bride and groom reading the letter written from each other.
The wedding ceremony: their wedding ceremony was set on the rooftop of the Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron, overlooking the beach, our Melbourne wedding photographer captured lots of stunning photos during their wedding ceremony.
The wedding reception: the night celebration was held inside function room at the Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron, with lots of floor ceiling windows available, the couples can enjoy the stunning ocean view while partying hard inside.
