OUR STORY WITH THE COUPLE:
We met with the loving couple early this year and it was our pleasure to know that the couple felt in love with our style of wedding photography at the very beginning. With many years of experience on capturing Melbourne city weddings, without too much words, we quickly managed to stand on the same page of the style we after.
The wedding getting ready:
Our Melbourne city wedding photographer commenced the day by documenting the couple’s getting-ready routine at Crown Hotel, a seamless choice given that it is the same venue for both the wedding ceremony and reception. This arrangement ensured a convenient and smooth transition for our photographer, allowing for a seamless flow from the preparation stage to the ceremony.
The contemporary design of Crown Hotel, complemented by expansive and large windows, facilitated an abundance of natural light. This not only added a touch of modern elegance to the setting but also provided our photographer with optimal conditions to capture stunning photos. The play of natural light through these spacious windows enhanced the visual storytelling, allowing for the creation of memorable and radiant images that beautifully captured the essence of the wedding day.
The wedding ceremony: The ceremony took place in the Garden Rooms, a capacious function room capable of accommodating up to 200 guests. The expansive space was flooded with natural light streaming in through large windows, creating a luminous and inviting atmosphere throughout the entire wedding ceremony. Adding to the charm, the windows offered panoramic views, allowing guests to catch glimpses of the picturesque Yarra River.
In this idyllic setting, the couple exchanged their vows, symbolized their commitment with the exchange of rings, and sealed their union with a heartfelt first kiss. Surrounded by the warmth of family and friends, the ceremony became a poignant moment filled with laughter and tears, all expertly captured by our photographer. The play of emotions, bathed in the soft glow of natural light, ensured that every precious moment was preserved in timeless photographs, becoming cherished memories for the couple and their loved ones.
The wedding photo location: Following the ceremony, the couple embarked on a city adventure for their wedding photo session. Our first stop was the grand fountain at Carlton Gardens, a renowned location listed among the top 20 wedding photo locations in Melbourne on Tree Studio’s blog. Blessed with ideal weather on the wedding day – not too hot nor too cold – the bridal party enjoyed a relaxed and cozy atmosphere, creating the perfect setting for our wedding photographer to capture natural and candid moments.
The picturesque Carlton Gardens provided a stunning backdrop for the couple’s photos, with its iconic fountain enhancing the overall charm of the images. The agreeable weather allowed the bridal party to feel at ease, resulting in genuine and heartfelt moments beautifully preserved in the photographs.
Upon returning to Crown, we seized the opportunity to capture more memories, this time at the iconic staircase at Crown Towers. This location added a touch of sophistication to the photo collection, creating a diverse and visually captivating set that encapsulated the essence of the couple’s journey on their special day.
