Married on the 8th of April 2022, Rebecca and Nicolas’ wedding ceremony and reception were both held at the amazing wedding venue Collingwood Children’s Farm. Collingwood Children’s Farm as a Melbourne Wedding Venue
Located near the Yarra River, just 10 minutes away from Melbourne CBD, Collingwood Children’s Farm is one of the Melbourne’s most unique wedding venues like no other. The Farm Café in the venue is a really magical space with open-air architecture and high-ceiling windows showcase with a overlooking on the whole farm and surrounds. With acres of gardens and enjoyment paddocks, Collingwood Children’s Farm is a wonderful place which is closed to Melbourne CBD but suitable for natural and candid style weddings.
As a Melbourne city wedding photographer who has captured a few times in Collingwood Children’s Farm, what I love about this unique wedding venue is the endless wedding photography opportunities on site. Couples can head to the farm with lush green lawn and lined oak trees for bridal party photography while the guests mingling and enjoy cocktail and canapes at the reception.
OUR STORY WITH THE COUPLE:
We met with the loving couple last year and it was pleasant to know that the couple were happy with our style of wedding photography at the very beginning. With many years of experience on capturing Melbourne city weddings, without too much words, we quickly managed to stand on the same page of the style we after.
The wedding getting ready: our Melbourne city wedding photographer started his day by capturing the couple’s getting ready routine at home with their friends and families before they head to the wedding venue.
The wedding ceremony: the ceremony was held on the lush green lawn with green oak trees around. The couple exchanged their ring and vows, and then they made the first kiss in front of all the families and friends. Our photographer captured this important time of tears and laughter.
The wedding photo location: after the ceremony, the couple head to the farm with their bridesmaids and groomsmen for the bridal wedding photography. Fun and happy moments were captured by our Melbourne city wedding photographer. On the way to the reception, the couple took a little walk on the lush lawn. The backdrop of green oak tree and well-maintained lawn created a scene full of vigour.
