Located 15 minutes away from the Melbourne CBD, the Collingwood Children’s farm is the perfect wedding venue for couples who love nature, rustic kind of vibe of wedding without travelling too far. As a public park, the Collingwood Children’s farm is filled with beautiful greeneries, gardens and most importantly lot of animals.
As a Melbourne wedding photographer who has become a regular guest at this rustic Melbourne wedding venue, what I truly love about the Collingwood Children’s farm is its stunning wedding ceremony location, the cozy wedding reception lodge as well as endless wedding photography opportunities available onsite. The ceremony can be held under the century old oak tree where it provides heaps of shade in the warm summer. After the wedding ceremony, there are lots of opportunities for the couple to get close with the animals onsite at the farm for some fun photos.
OUR STORY WITH THE COUPLE:
We met with the lovely couple earlier this year and it was great knowing the couple fell in love with our style of wedding photography at the very beginning. With many years of experience from capturing Melbourne wedding photography, without too much words, we quickly managed to stand on the same page of the style we after.
The wedding getting ready: our Melbourne wedding photographer started his day by capturing our two stunning brides morning getting ready. Then after they are all changed, we then arranged a first look between them at the veranda of the old homestead at the front of the Collingwood Children’s Farm, we captured lots of laughter and tears.
The wedding ceremony: the couple said ‘I do’ to each other in front of the beautiful rustic backdrop, during the wedding ceremony, our Melbourne wedding photographer captured lots of tears and laugher, as well as the loving couple’s first kiss as married couple.
