Charm Lodge as a Swan Hill Wedding Venue
Situated right next to the border of New South Wales and Victoria, the Charm Lodge is named after the beautiful lake Charm set right next to the building. The Charm Lodge is a luxury, modern, family home in the Kerang Lakes district that offers 160 acres of land for multiple use, including weddings. The wedding ceremony can be held at the back of the homestead, and right after the wedding ceremony, there are several locations onsite available for the bridal party to do natural and candid wedding photography, including the rustic tractor, the gum trees, as well as a beautiful vineyard.
As a Victoria wedding photographer that travels regularly within the state, it is my first time capturing wedding here at the Charm Lodge Swan Hill and I fell in love with he natural and rustic vibe of the homestead offered straightaway. With accommodation available, couples can spend their whole wedding day pretty much at one spot to minimize any stress and travelling, while the beautiful sceneries available onsite are perfect for natural and candid wedding photography afterwards.
OUR STORY WITH THE COUPLE:
We met with the lovely couple earlier this year and it was great knowing the couple fell in love with our style of wedding photography at the very beginning. With many years of experience from capturing Melbourne wedding photography, without too much words, we quickly managed to stand on the same page of the style we after.
The wedding getting ready: our Melbourne wedding photographer started his day by capturing our bride and groom Courtney and Matt’s morning getting ready routine for their wedding. Together with their fun bridal party, we got some candid drinking shots of the couple before they jumped into their dress and afterwards, we were able to capture lots of laughter and happy vibes.
The wedding ceremony: the couple said ‘I do’ to each other in front of the beautiful rustic backdrop that they setup at the back of the Charm Lodge Swan Hill. During the wedding ceremony, our wedding photographer captured lots of genuine emotions and the couple first kiss as husband and wife.
