BRIEF:
Andrew and Rhiannon were married on the 13th of March 2021, their wedding ceremony was held at the Sacred Heart Cathedral and wedding reception at the Silks Events and Functions Centre at Bendigo Racecourse.
WEDDING VENUE:
Located next to the racecourse of the picturesque Bendigo, the Silks Events and Functions is the ideal place to say ‘I do’.
Walking into this Bendigo wedding venue, you will soon be immersed in the stunning view of the racecourse as well as the region Bendigo. The Silks Events and Functions Centre also offers an outdoor area for wedding ceremony as well as dinner canapes.
As a Melbourne wedding photographer, the main reason that I love capturing weddings at this amazing wedding venue is the stunning sunset during the golden hour. With the backdrop of the lawn as well as the city, the wedding photography taken at the Silks Events and Functions centre is set to be stunning.
OUR STORY WITH THE COUPLE:
We met the lovely couple last year and it was great knowing the couple fell in love with our style of wedding photography at the very beginning. Without too many words, we quickly managed to stand on the same page of the style we after.
The wedding ceremony: Being one of the biggest cathedral churches in Australia, the Sacred Heart offers stunning Gothic styled architecture for wedding photography afterwards.
The couple said ‘I do’ to each other in front of their families and friends at the Sacred Heart Cathedral church. Our Melbourne wedding photographer captured lots of precious moments during their wedding ceremony, including their first kiss.
The wedding photo location: due to the wet weather on the wedding day, we had to change plan from the original wedding photo location Rosalind Park to the church. However the results are simply great as the Sacred Heart really provided a stunning backdrop for timeless and vintage wedding photography. The pillar stone, arched door as well as the interiors are just some of the must do locations around the church.
The wedding reception: their wedding night party is held at the Silks Events and Functions Centre, during the night, our Melbourne wedding photographer captured lots of fun and precious moments of the couple and their guests.
