Located in Ballarat, about 10 minutes’ drive away from Geelong, Batesford Hotel is one of the most historical wedding venues at this region. As the most popular pub, Batesford Hotel offers cosy fireplace and lush green garden all year round. Everyone can relax and have a good time in this picturesque garden. With the stunning setting, both The Moorabool Garden as well as the lush lawn can be amazing places for wedding rustic, natural and candid styled weddings no matter with nice weather or not.
As a Geelong wedding photographer who has captured a few times in Batesford Hotel, what I love about this wonderful wedding venue is the endless wedding photography opportunities around the venue. Not only the garden view can be a beautiful photography backdrop, couples can head to the rolling hill and grand stone behind the venue for some natural bridal party photography while the guests mingling and enjoy their cocktail at the reception.
OUR STORY WITH THE COUPLE:
We met with the sweet couple last year and it was privileged to know that the couple fell in love with our style of wedding photography at the very beginning. With many years of experience on capturing Geelong weddings, without too much words, we quickly managed to stand on the same page of the style we after.
The wedding getting ready: our Geelong wedding photographer started his day by capturing the couple’s getting ready routine with her friends at home before they head to the wedding venue. The processing was short but valuable and our photographer captured all the details.
The wedding ceremony: the ceremony was held on the green lawn, the couple exchanged their rings and made the first kiss in front of their families and friends. Our photographer captured these romantic moments.
The wedding photo location: after the ceremony, the couple head to the rolling hill with grand stones with bridesmaids and groomsmen. They drunk wines and had a great time there. All these precious moments were captured by our Geelong wedding photographer. The breathtaking sunset on the rolling hill was so impressive and made our day.
